@@kingdavid4443 I actually think it's because Amazon was one of the few retailers that were doing pre-orders (Got mine but delivery is only 29th Oct). The playstation store only has the demo still for me, even after the system update. Even my local stores in the UK where I buy all my physical pre-orders didn't even have it. I did read there was some issue between NiSA and Falcom but never had any issue pre-ordering an Ys game in the past.

Yeah, Amazon Logistics lost my Deluxe Hard Copy. Now I have to enjoy the fabulous additional waiting time until delivery of the replacement will have been made... around 5th November. But, I could enjoy the demo.

If you downloaded the demo, the game will replace its folder and the save from the demo will be usable on the game.

Yes, but you might not get the trophies for anything that was completed in the demo. I never did get the trophies for completing the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 2.

No, they're all self-contained, so you can start with this one if you want.

@@kiryu77134 except Ys I and II, all games are self contained and you can start anywhere. The most you’re gonna get are very minor callbacks with Ys IX having the most references on other games and Ys VIII (maybe Ys X too) being the most self contained, Every game is like a journal and this is like the 3rd or 4th journal chronologically anyways.

If it was the Trails series on the other hand, then maybe I can understand. But I hope that you'll enjoyed this game nonetheless if you decide to get it. 👍🏾

I don't know too much about this franchise, but I liked what the demo had to offer Dayum, the english dub couldn't find any other voice actors than the same recycled ones?
