I have always liked the YSL holiday releases in the past. I always thought they put effort in it and the packaging was often more expensive feeling than Chanel or Dior. And the freebies are usually better 😅I once got a golden pouch w 4 different mini lipsticks in gold packaging! I still have them and like to use them around the holidays 😊

Love the beautiful eye look you have created with the YSL palette. 😍. Initially, I thought the eyeshadows would be too warm, but I think it looks more neutral on the eye. I’m so glad I purchased this palette.

It's all gorgeous and looks gorgeous on you, dear Hannah!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩The quad, yes i think i want it, although i also have the other one, i love the formula of these, so easy, i collect them, well, i skipped one with blue or black i think but have almost all of them, Yves Saint Laurent really improved their eyeshadow formula the last year, or 1.5 year!👍This is also cute for a gift! I wait what happens, a lot shows up at the ICI Paris website or the Douglas website and they have quite some reduction actions. And Parfumdreams Germany also ships it fast to The Netherlands, i think they will get this one. And if not, than from the brand's website!❤

Bought my first love shine few days ago and I absolutely love it, I always go for the more browns and nudes so the second one you put on will be my pick. The eyeshadow is gorgeous on you, you have such a beautiful eyes and eye shape (mine are so hooded that it is a bit hard for me to use eyeshadow although I love to do so, the only thing I’m interested to do for myself is getting my eyes fixed and I hope I will one day in near future)

Over Dore is the only one of the 4 newer quads that I didn't get. So, that makes it easier for me to justify getting Golden Lace. Thank you for the comparison! The increased pigment makes me think this will be better suited for me than Over Dore. And that packaging! 😍Gorgeous. The products look beautiful on you. I'm not a lipstick girlie, but I'm tempted to buy one too.

Maybe it's the lighting but all the shimmers appear brighter on the eye than in the pan... I assumed the brown would have a bit more copper in it but it almost seems to have a golden sheen too🤔 I really like the tones of the golds. The lipsticks definitely will be skewed by the shade of lip liner you are using. I'd use the light one w a more cool toned proper pink lip liner (if I'd use one) as I think this will bring out the pink it has whereas a nude one is washing out what little pigment it has. They're perfect to pair w stains too

The lighting just allows you to see them in the most emphasised way as I have it set to natural lighting. I always use a liner as my lip edge has faded over the years ❤️

I am the same with Pat McGrath and Natasha Demona being my favourite pallets, I started my interest in makeup only four years ago as I told you recently but already have 6 ND midi’s (plus 6 or 7 minis) and one mothership IX if I am correct, plus some quints and one quart and the Holliday collection from last year (the big with the green shades and 2 quints) and I love everything I have in my collection but was underwhelmed by PT USA formula and I agree with people that the brand has been a bit disappointing recently with very similar shades and all that. But I asked my friend in USA to buy the big pallet and the duo with the green I just couldn’t resist 😅 (Icelandic like me but lives in NY) that is so sweet to help me buying all the brands we don’t have in Iceland and sending me as gifts so I only have to pay shipping (It is crazy how much cost adds up if I want to order from everyone actually…like Amazon, I sometimes have to pay much more for shipping and taxes than the product 😢😢) She also ordered two of Charlottes single shades (the green ofc and the first you put on in your video…I can never remember these names 🙈😅 Do you know if Pat s shadows this year are USA or Italy formula? I cannot wait for your video about the things you grabbed ❤❤❤ 🎉🎉 I love the YSL quads, I have the 100 but the new ones are not here yet (a bit strange) but I hope this collection will arrive to Iceland. I have never tried Clay de pou (definitely wrong spelling 😂) since we don’t have it here either (we have So FEW BRANDS ….well we are only around 400k the whole population so the market is not big. Do you think this YSL quad is perhaps too similar to ND golden pallet which I own. I am trying to be wiser with my purchases 🙃 but I kinda want everything 😂😂😂

So. I got 44 love shine and already have one ysl quad and I don’t reach for it. So, I grabbed the Danesa palette and the Dior holiday with the gold packaging. I’m not crazy about anything else. Cle de peau is gorgeous but I know I probably won’t use those colors. Oh! I grabbed the hourglass dragon which I love. I think I am ready for Christmas movies with all of these releases. 😂❤

So sad, in Germany like always the Christmas sets/presents have to be inferior than anywhere else😤they do not even offer the beautiful black pouch. With Chanel, Sephora and Dior I’m used to, but it seems like YSL does the same. They use the picture with the black pouch and then they put a normal gold standard pouch instead. They always remove the nice pouches. First I really use them, (to the pool, business trips,…), second is a matter of principle. I will check during my trips if I can get it somewhere else🤨, but from the German site I’m not getting the palette and the lip shines. Sorry I had to complain somewhere😂.

Hannah I don't understand your application methods. You dip into the powder, do a couple of hard taps, then blow on the brush or your finger, then apply. Then you either have to keep dipping back in a half dozen times, or you say that it didn't show up? Perhaps only tap or blow?

800 is Over D'Ore. It came as an addition to the line last summer. Although, if I were you, and reviewed that much makeup, I'd be lost. I might consider this palette. But I can dupe it easily with my old Natasha Denona original Gold palette. Although seeing this YSL on you makes me wish I needed it. It is stunning on you! I'm considering one of the Dior holiday lipsticks and the red/pink nail color. I have 30 Montaigne from Dior, and other older holiday palettes I like better than anything else new. I have been painting my own nails since I was 13 years old, and still do them myself. Right now I'm wearing Vampires Touch by Deborah Lippman. It's a metallic version of the deeper color nails you're wearing. And I have the Chanel Phenome nail color on the way. Aside from that, nothing else has really appealed to me. Some strange, bright holiday launches. I was waiting for this year's Mothership from Pat McGrath. But, surprise! There isn't one. She really doesn't care much about this line since she sold it, and it shows. It's a shame. I have most of her others. But if she was ever considered a luxe brand, she simply isn't now. Danessa Myricks is now the brand to watch IMO. Maybe not for luxe, but certainly for innovation. Thanks for the video.💚

I agree with you. I think DM has definitely taken over now. She really is the most innovative and exciting of the two. Dior is so far the winner when it comes to the most classy I think but YSL have given them a little run for their money with this collection. Hope you are okay and you have a lovely weekend ❤️
