These are colors I’m drawn to in my wardrobe and home decor but at my age 71- I don’t think I can rock such bold colors. But the lack of super shimmering shades is a plus! It seems so many palettes are full of glitter and shimmer which is fine if you are young but what are we grandmas supposed to do who still love makeup and wanna try the latest and greatest? It’s a dilemma. Great video as always. ❤❤❤❤❤

I knew this one would be beautiful, but it’s even prettier than I imagined! 🤩 (I’ve always liked the big YSL clutches, but the formula in these quads is 100x better and more unique. You did an amazing job with both looks, but that first one had me. It was like the water lilys of a monet . So ethereal. Amazing swatches and comparisons, as always. Seeing the ysl satin and matte formula, especially seeing them next to darker and more metallic formulas, is defrsomething that would work better for me and how I like to do my makeup. Thanks for posting on Instagram the palettes were at Bloomingdale’s! I think they’re all gone now! I got stora dolls & Babylon roses.

That second look is absolutely gorgeous! I was previously thinking of buying this but decided to pass because I didn't think I'd get much use out of it, so I ordered Kasbah Spices and Trocadero Nights instead, for both a neutral everyday and an easy glam option. It looks like Chanel and YSL had similar dreams when it came to their palettes! Chanel has the Byzance and YSL is inspired in part by Marakesh! I find that interesting. @laurasenz I never drank the Tom Ford Koolaid. But I have similar shades in Natasha Denona and Viseart. However, a perfectly curated 4 pan palette is so easy! No thought required. I got the 200, 300 and the 400 pallets. I live in Sydney Australia and it’s not here yet. I got my shipped from the UK. I want the 100 but it’s not available anywhere that I can find.
