Thanks Nathan ! 1 wouldn’t have a transit custom for any money ! Knowing 4 that all the same issues one only 3 months from new and the oldest 5 months plus further potential ones the you mentioned I would be REALY pissed paying big money buying one and that happening ! Ive got a Dewalt DCF899HN 18v impact wrench which ive had for a few years and its been brilliant. Its got 3 torque settings and is only £100. Most of my tools are of the dewalt 18v range as the batteries fit all so its cheaper to buy just the tool bodies and share a few batteries amongst them 👍🏾 absolutely loving the VW content 👌🏾

Hey bud thank you oh no the worst place to have a flat battery, is a TOPDON js300 it’s the biggest one they do and it started the golf with a completely flat battery I was surprised. They sell them on eBay cheap enough. Really appreciate that mate 👍

That’s a good practical but fun car that. Will be a good buy for somebody. You lost a bit of footage in the edit, I think, unless my phone jumped a bit? Defonatly recommend the milwaukee 1/2 impact, im a agri mechanic and it gets some punishment rattling about in the back of the van the whole time too and its still going after nearly 5 years. I've the 3/8s impact and a drill too they are all ace

Hey Ewan thank you for the comment. I bet you have some big rusty bolts to undo in you trade, my friend has the Milwaukee 1/2 gun and it undoes rusty transit wheel nuts straight away really impressive. I do need to upgrade my power tools 👍

I do miss my mk5 gttdi. sold it to my mate a couple months back with 176k. I did 50k on it.(btw it had 32mm rear wheel bearing) Brilliant car, just went a *bit* rotten underneath haha. I will get another one I reckon when the times right, just need to find one that's not rotten. P.S the same friend I sold the golf to has just got a Milwaukee 1/2 inch impact gun. Its a beast but definitely overkill and a high price. Another friend has a DeWalt 1/2 same again as the Milwaukee. I think the Kielder one is quite powerful and good price, Bad Obsession Motorsport use them. Anyway was a good video glws.

Hey butters 👍 I’ve only ever seen 30mm so presumed it was 4 motions that where 32mm but I guess not. Some of the mk5’s do rust and some don’t I wonder if they made some in different places or something. Yes my mate has the Milwaukee and your right it’s a beast, I think they are only good for undoing stuff as they can snap wheel nuts if to many dugger duggers. I’ have kielder gun 👍 but the battery has petered out it lasted well thow. Always appreciate your comment 👍

Hi NATHAN ! Do you know what going on with Ford custom vans ! DPS how can they be totally blocked when only 3to 5 months old I was first thinking that they were all short trip stop and start ! Hey Brian sorry for the delay so I havnt played much with the later transits but what I do know about dpf’s is that the sensors break down sometimes then that sends wrong signals then soon as this starts it doesn’t Regen itself so just gets more and more blocked. It then starts creating excess heat in the engine causing injectors to fail among other things. I know they are Ment to help the plant but I don’t see how as soon as they start to foul up the ecu pumps more fuel in to clean it, personally if I had a vehicle with a dpf I’d have the ecu remapped to remove it then hollow out the dpf box.

Badly need one of them boost pack chargers, have a b6 2.0tdi 140 Passat and laid up since July, need to get it sorted, car never gave me any bother from I bought it, only needs a new front wing and she’s good to go, but the brakes have stuck on abit think it’s collecting dust needs to get moving

Hey Alex I’m so surprised by the booster, I have bigger workshop ones and they would have done it but definitely wouldn’t have turned it over that fast, cheap enough on eBay. I do like a Passat 👍 me and my pals keep mentioning a road trip round Europe and I’d buy one for that. Sometimes brakes will loosen up after driving round the block a few times, apart from the broke brake pad in mine I would have done the same but not the best video content lol. Thanks mate

@@kevinbailey7758 😬 I havnt I’m sorry mate, I cut them off all the way along just above the stone chip line. I then cut them off all the way along just in front of where they meet the sill. Always spend abit of time cutting the new piece to fit in really nicely as welding it in goes smoothly, also just weld a spot then move 6” and weld another spot, carry on all the way to the end then go back to the start and spot weld next to the first one then 6” on next to that one. That way you don’t heat it up to much and it go out of shape.

Oh so iv had her plugged in mate and no codes . But I have noticed a lose of power all most like im running low on fuel some times still keeps ideing and 1000rpm but if I turn the car off and on will ide at 800rpms again but keep creeping up 2 1000rpm 🤔
