The Lyriq is my “so-so” car. It is so smooth, so quiet, so powerful, so smart, and when in super Cruise mode, so relaxing. In warmer summer temperatures, it also gets over 350 miles on a full charge. That is far more than most other luxury EV‘s. I have had Porsches, Audis, and Lincoln Continentals. I love my Lyriq!

No problems love it!! The only thing that is glitchy is the home link garage door opener button on the screen!! Other than that it’s perfect!!! My wife wanted this car I am a huge BMW for life guy!!! But it really grew on me and it feels like a German luxury car on the inside.

The 22's really make this car stand out. I have Argent Silver on White with 22's in a Luxury 3 trim with the 19KW charger and power moonroof. I almost wish I'd bought RED so I could give it to my mom after my lease is done - but she's really not ready to go EV yet and is probably better off with her red XT5.

The replacement to that is the Vistiq launches at the end of 2025. It will have 3 rows. XT6 production ends in late-2027. Not many good 3 row options in 2024 except maybe R!S. We bought the Lyriq, the XT5 was not even a close call.

I like the look of this car, but you didn't even show the biggest issue I have with it. there is no front trunk, just a big plastic thing covering an empty space. A total miss in the design of the vehicle, that Caddy seemed to realize with the escalade. Not quite sure if that is a deal breaker yet.

The sound turns off at a speed higher than 22 mph and turns on again when you slow down. It is a safety feature to warn pedestrians.

@@moth450 If you can afford this car, then put $10k deposit on it and keep it for a few years. You should not be upside down by then when you are looking to trade. Not sure how many vehicles you bought and traded/sold, but dealers always lowball you on trades. It's up to you to bargain with them or sell it somewhere else like Carvana, Carmax etc.

Why did we get Tesla in discussion. Tesla has its own place and this Cadillac its own. I feel bad for people who bought Tesla’s just because and now are dealing with high repair cost, multiple months wait time, bad NVH. No doubt Tesla disrupted auto industry- even though GM made EVs in 1980s and ford made stainless steel cars decades before that.. in current world, does Tesla have advantages for coming first - yes but is it going to be the best in a few years .. I don’t think so. Conventional OEMs were late but they have the know how of making cars. Tech - maybe not, maybe Tesla will still lead. But you don’t buy cars only for tech - you but it for comfort, luxury, dynamics, etc etc.
