For sure, my main beef with starstable is the monitisation, so a priv server that leaves that system intact just seems pointless. I'd mainly be interested a copy of the live server with all monitisation removed + QoL edits though - I have no nostalgia for old SSO and just find it unattractive myself.

I'm waiting to download any sort of private server before I know it is safe. Although, I am looking forward to someone creating one that's like our current Alicia online. The BSSO dev asking for money should've been an instant red flag for everyone. Those who don't have the licence for the game aren't legally allowed to pay gate their servers.

To be honest, looking at the effort they are putting into the whole thing, I feel like it‘s pretty justified to ask for money. Even if it‘s a passion project. Keeping the server online, tending to the issues people face and managing it all is a pretty big job.

@@gmg8084 doesn't change the fact that they DO NOT own Star Stable Online, therefore they aren't legally allowed to sell it as their own product. Same way the current Alicia devs aren't allowed to take donations or funds to keep their server running, even though it would be very much deserved as they kept this private server up for at least 10 years now.

The bsso dev exhibited shady, odd behavior, while asking for ungodly amounts of money, while you install CONFIRMED AND TESTED Trojan onto your PC. Please don't excuse this, or argue things that don't apply to bsso at all. Because currently, you're arguing, or making points in bsso's favor, when it's not deserved at all. I wouldn't be so against it if the dev was sincere and it was actually something genuinely good and fun. I just don't like it at all how people's emotional connection to an old version of a game gets exploited and overturned to scam and take advantage of them. If it was just a fun project for people to enjoy, the prices wouldn't be so outrageous and there wouldn't be a literal Trojan you're installing along with bsso. Please find actual sincere people to support.

@@gmg8084 they literally can't though if they don't wanna get their asses sued to hell lmao, and it's also pretty shitty to do anyway considering it's not even their own ip. the point of revival servers for defunct games is to bring back a piece of people's childhoods that is now lost, so everyone can get to enjoy it once again.... forcing people to pay up for that experience is just selfish and greedy as fuck 😭😭sso losing potential revenue isn't really the point. i understand it's not an easy task to set up these servers, but if you know you're not able to deal with the upkeep by yourself, then you shouldn't bother to begin with or you should form a team. there's plenty of community driven servers such as club penguin journey (that i've personally volunteered help with before) and toontown rewritten/corporate clash that don't make a single cent off their private servers, but are still kept alive because the people involved just love what they're doing so much! going about these things in a solid, dedicated group and keeping money out of it is always the best way.

i get what youre trying to say but i think a better comparison could be runescape 3 and old school runescape, since minecraft and ajc/ajpw are old games that are still updating along with the "new version", but runescape has a more similar situation to sso runescape got updated a lot in 20 years, then people started having demands for a old/classic server and so they made OSRS, and still actively update it based on player feedback (which is like, a super good thing to do, they host polls and the players decide what gets implemented) it would be nice for sso to update it with polls like runescape, but thats too much work for them probably lol

The old SSO was my absolute favourite thing in the world. I would spend hours upon hours on my crusty af horses with their shitty animations because there was such a cozy sense of home and comfort. Yes, of course, the game needed to be improved and worked on, but surely, if these random devs with the heart and passion can essentially recreate SSO from the good ol' days, why can't SSO do it themselves? It would be a safe, legal and VERY well received thing that everyone would greatly appreciate it. Hell, stick a one-time price tag on it and I can guarantee a lot of older players will pay it. I know I would. Give us star rider and unlimited star coins or something for said one time price, and they'd have people eating out of the palm of their hand. Would SSO ever do that because of the fact that it is a one time price and no one would be paying on top of that? Maybe not. But it would definitely put them in the good books for a lot of players out there, including me. I still play the game for the story, even if it is totally different, but I would love a slice of the childhood bliss that it once was. I still play the old CD games over and over just because of how goddamn good old SSO was. The risk of downloading this wasn't worth it, but the child in me was so goddamn tempted I swear 😂😂 Wonderful video, Rattle! ❤🇿🇦

I don't think many if any original SSO coders have stayed. I know the musician has but they sure as hell ain't gonna code your horse into the engine. Besides that they'd still need funds to make essentially another game. They probably do have money, just don't know if they have enough. It's not as simple as just making it happen despite the fact that they're a company now.

@@Madsss1655 Not saying that SSO has to do it for free, but they still would need to make time to develop the old game with possibly the current team that's working on everything else. That's also a cost they might not want to sink into uncertainty. Businesses are run very weirdly and they don't exactly make the decisions that are very obvious to us. For one, they also have a lot of protocols and schedules. I can't say I know exactly how their business works nor that it's something that should be difficult for them, but one thing I have learned from other games is that bigger corporations often struggle to do the things we want because they're hesitant of the risks they might be taking because of it. Money isn't gonna solve everything if the staff has to be managed somewhere else and they can't work on new content, no new content means no money and no money means no working on the thing the players want. It is almost always easier to do for someone with free time because they can afford to do that as often as they want, how they want, when they want and not much is gonna happen if they don't even finish it.

Yeah any group of "dedicated" fans that'd gleefully throw someone to the wolves and leech off their work are people to stay clear of. As somebody who has been in a lot of similar private game server revival communities, I can say that has ALWAYS been a good way to judge who is well-intentioned or not. BSSO was sketchy of course... asking for players's login info is the biggest red flag and I'm not sure why more people weren't freaked out about that, or decided to take that risk in the first place. However, the conduct in that discord should tell you that we need to be cautious with any of these old SSO projects in the near future because bitter and unpredictable actors will take advantage of your desperation even over a silly horse game.

The only thing I personally dislike about private servers is when some of them try to earn money by keeping premium currency features etc. Private servers such as CP rewritten handled it well by having all the premium features become free and instead had advertisements on the main page before logging in, people could also donate directly to them if they wanted to show their support. A big part of private servers for me has been that players get access to features that they might not have been able to afford if they played on the official servers.

Yes. You are not allowed to make money off of something that isn't yours. If bsso had a donations section on their website or discord, then the case wouldn't be half as bad. (Unless the dev pockets the money instead of putting it towards server costs, which will be profiting off of the game, exactly like how he is doing atm)

"Petty and weird" is a very good descriptive for Blizzard. As for private servers and legality, I tend to think of Japanese doujin culture-- technically, doujin fanworks being sold for money is illegal. But most artists selling fanworks charge very little. Their goal is to cover the costs of producing their works, not to make a profit. It's fanwork, after all, and they do it because they love whatever media their doujin are based on. While some artists may make more money than it cost to create a doujin, doujin almost never cost as much as an official manga, game, or book would. Japanese publishers, for their part, officially ignore doujin creators, since their works are free advertising. Official publishers will also participate in big "doujin" events like Comiket by having their own booths to sell official merchandize, often only a room away from fans selling fanworks. However, you can safely bet that if any doujin artist started selling a subscription to fanworks, or charged as much or more than official goods, the lawyers would come out to play. 300 to 500 yen for a doujin is fine (1,000 yen or more if it's a big, color doujin or an anthology with lots of artists participating), but if an artist is actively and obviously seeking a profit (and comes to the attention of the company), things change. (obligatory "and then there's Sanrio" because some corporation always has to be a pain) Of course, this is not in Japan, nor a Japanese company. Had Better SSO not charged money for Star Coins/Rider and just had voluntary donations, I would easily say that SSE would be cruel to go after them. After all, BSSO is not offering the same service as current SSO. SSE may legally be within their rights to take legal action, but like with Blizzard and private WoW servers, it would be a patented Bad Look. Of course of course, this is without going into the claims of viruses. I used to download a ton of dubious programs (say hey if you remember the early 2000s MMO boom), and I am now older and wiser and wince at the thought of doing that now. There are plenty of malicious things that don't become immediately obvious that could be loaded into that client, and I'd rather not find out for myself if they're there. I did not know much about Horsey Games Preservation going into this video, so I appreciate the insight that they could be BSSO's competitors. While I appreciate their attempts to caution against downloading suspicious programs, more transparency would go a long way to allaying suspicions as to their true motives.

When I first saw BetterSSO, i´ve got hope.. I saw those old starter-model horses, especially old Achal-Teke and my inner-child cried. But when i heard there were malware, i stopped myself from downloading it. IF this guy has no malicious intent in stealing people's information and he truly does just want to bring our beloved childhood back to us, it would be kind of neat if sso made a deal to turn bsso into sso classic, hire the man who made it to keep it up and running and updated and agree that they split the money. Something a little like what rockstar did. That way people have the choice between playing current sso and sso classic. With that said, as much as my nostalgia is calling to me so hard, I care more about my safety. It still just seems too good to be true, so I want to be safe. As I've been saying nostalgia isn't a bad thing in itself. People act like it's a bad thing, but it really isn't. It's the bad actions that some people take for nostalgia, but nostalgia itself can actually be a good thing. Some people just relax more and get more enjoyment when playing older games, they grew up playing. Video was great and as always; we love watching your content. It truly is sad that people are willing to risk so much to get old sso back - including myself. I’ve considered BSSO for a long time now and decided to just not risk it. I wish SSO would realize the lengths people are going to get the old star stable back. People constantly say that SSO itself bringing back SSO classic is impossible and would result in them losing a lot of money - but i disagree. They could release it as a separate game, making everyone start from scratch. We would pay for star rider and star coins again. Yes, they would have to pay to keep the servers up … but if people are paying to play and paying for the game itself, maybe it would stay up. Also, people were saying if they brought back old SSO, the main SSO’s updates would be slowed down and people would be upset. I disagree. If they were to re-release classic SSO… they wouldn’t have to update it at all. People are paying for the classic - so there’s no need to have to keep up with it except maintenance here and there. Sure, having seasonal updates on the classic SSO would be nice but i think players would appreciate the game itself and would be fine with no updates. I know it’s a stretch, but i truly hope SSO puts it into even a little bit of consideration.

With all servers, you need money to run it. With the case of shut down games, some people are open to donations. With donations, you don't make a profit, but the money is for keeping the servers up and paying for those. But because it's selling ingame items like star coins and star rider, it then makes it illegal and sso can sue bsso because they're pocketing money off of something sso made.

14:30 Now, hang on, sister, I've been playing the AO private server since it came back to life in 2014. Sure, the only way to play it was to turn off your anti-virus and/or firewall to log in, but it didn't install any scary viruses or what not into my PC. It went down about 3 months ago due to a server crash and the lone developer sort of vanished and no word had been heard from him until a handful of weeks ago when he came back. He says he's still working on the game but truthfully, it's been radio static since it initially went down. I keep checking the Facebook and Viki to see if anything's been updated, but to no avail. Though, there has been word of a new development team making their own server of AO, "A Story of Alicia", which has more people working on it instead of one, but the servers aren't open yet as far as I know. I just hope they can make it playable without turning off my security, adding payment options(which would be illegal since they don't own the game), etc.

Legality of private servers does extend well past TOS as in the US both source code and game assets and art can have copyrights. Placing it in your TOS is nice, but not necessarily well.....necessary. Even if Scape/Reeves had fought Blizzard they absolutely still would have lost since it's a pretty open and shut case of infringement/theft from asset, musical, and artwork use alone. The operator was a resident of the US in the state of Georgia, at least at that time.

Biggest red flag for me right away watching this was hearing they asked for extra payment. Most private servers for multiple games (especially those running old versions of games/games that no longer exist officially) do not do this for obvious reasons

A lot of private servers do actually have the option for payments, either a donation that isn't forced up on you so it's your choice, same with possibly selling ingame outfits. It's completely normal, since private servers are simply not FREE to run.

@@atodeblue Epic takes 12% revenue from all purchases (so this would be subscriptions and star coin purchases) whereas Steam takes a hefty 30% cut. There could also be TOS conflicts. Additionally, Steam's playerbase is, in my opinion, not really the target demographic SSO is aiming for, so I suspect the cost-benefit analysis isn't in their favor when considering that revenue cut.

Many of the games on Epic are also on steam unless they have a special deal with epic. Usually the deal is something like "the game is only available on Epic for a year" and then it usually comes to other places too.

@@mellut5261 (This ended up long, sorry!) I've seen firsthand how a community can change due to a game being put on steam after it had been standalone for years. You could absolutely tell that the "floodgates" opened and there was a shift in the community. Fortunately, this particular game already had an incredibly wholesome and friendly community established, so it didn't ruin it, but you can still often play "spot the steam player" based on...questionable character names and behavior in chat. Not to sound biased or stereotype, but it happened a LOT less in the 10 years before it was put up on steam. While that definitely isn't ALL steam users, and being put on steam can absolutely be a net benefit, it is definitely a consideration when SSO is primarily targeted towards being child-friendly and already has a history of poor moderation and decidedly child-unfriendly behavior in chat from parts of the community. But hey, I'm no professional analyst for this kind of stuff, I just think that if it isn't a case of TOS conflicts with Steam, there's a chance SSE doesn't want to take that 30% revenue cut just to get onto a platform that may not align with their goals or majorly benefit them. Pre-existing games also have to be retro-fitted with code to work with steam's infrastructure, so that's yet another consideration SSE has surely taken into account. None of us will ever know, but I was just giving the facts of the revenue cuts between Epic and Steam, and then my opinion on why that heftier cut may not be considered "worth it" to a game like SSO. I could be completely wrong, they could announce Steam support at any time, who knows!

Honestly with BSSO i’ve seem more proof of people safely playing it than I have otherwise. The only proof is the screenshots that you provided in this video. It’s hard to listen to people (like on tiktok and reddit) stating their concerns of people downloading this when they just state random outlandish things like their whole pc breaking and their bank being stolen from with no proof, it makes it harder to believe them. People constantly repeat and insult those who do decide to get bsso, talk down to them and i’ve even seen really weird, horrible comments about the people who play it. Even though the people who play it are no doubt mostly (older) minors. idk, i just want to see way more evidence on the opposing side of bsso rather than screaming, crying, pointing fingers, claiming false(?) things and insulting people. edit; e.g I made a light joke about the virus on tiktok and someone immediately wished that my life should be ruined over it. I seriously don’t get why the people so harshly against bsso just insult people and provide literally 0 proof. I’m not recommending to get bsso at all, there’s no certain saying about the whole virus thing, but to argue against it at least be a bit nicer about it..?

This is something SSO should do, make a server with all the old graphics and old horses. They can just remove the quests and only keep the races to make it easier for themselves. I would love to experience the old sso again with the crusty horses, characters, graphics and old silverglade and fort pinta! ( and what's even easier is that the game never has to update )

I think this is a really bad sign for SSO in general. Players are getting desperate for SSO to change things back and we all know they won't so players are leaving and looking elsewhere. What SSO had that we wanted is not something they are offering anymore and will not offer.

Okay, look, I get that people miss the old Star Stable. I have also been playing the game for eleven years. But at this point, I can't help but think it isn't the old game they want back but just what they're nostalgic for. They want to relive how they felt as kids playing it. Because, sure, some of the modern SSO has changed things that frustrate players, but they also added a lot! And it's still a really fun game to play. It just, had to evolve in order to stay relevant and up to date. Because without that they don't get new players. And without that they can't keep the game running. SSO and its management may be a bit scummy, but the game itself is still a very good horse game. Just, I get it, but I wish people would stop acting like the modern SSO is complete trash and has nothing to offer. It has its flaws, but it still has so many amazing moments too.

As one of those old players, I get that, but...the point is that there may be lots of older players who want it, but there's not nearly as many as there are new players. Or old players who don't mind the modernization, like me. See, they all point out the old horses but the fact is the old horses don't fit with the new graphics, don't fit with the new tack that are made for the new gens, and even if they DID keep it around for just those old players, they've already explained that keeping around obsolete models and coding slows down the game and puts unnecessary strain on the servers. Which is why they phased them out bit by bit. It's not like they erased any horses us old players had bought before they replaced them. The old SSO players aren't their demographic as much anymore, because if we were and if they only listened to us, the game would not have the reach or popularity it does now. It still has a really booming player base of old and young players, and the game is still very fun to play. Like any other game out there, eventually, you're just going to end up stepping away. You're going to do everything you can do. And if you already got, say, a DECADE out of a game...isn't that already such an amazing thing? Why ask for so much more? It's not a single player game, it's not a private game, it's a public server that caters to hundreds of thousands of players. SSO is actually following popular demand. They can't just listen to a small handful of players. They just can't. And it's selfish to think they should.

I've played on such servers before. Toontown Rewritten, FreeSO (Free Sims Online), New Club Penguin, those are all recreations of games that are long gone, but I've also managed to play on a private server for a game that was and still is active, Perfect World Online. Here in Russia it was all the rage at some point in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and I was a kid who wanted all of the cool things here and now, and I didn't mind grinding, but paying real money to be cool? If I got lucky, I could convince my family to let me spend some money on a cheap dress to feel a bit cooler, but that was it. I never got to play old SSO, but I love Starshine Legacy, and with how many people seem to miss the game that SSO once was, a private server like this was only a matter of time. And it is only a matter of time before somebody else picks it up and makes a new private server, maybe a free one this time. And whether it's a good idea or not, many will welcome it with open arms. Personally, I encourage fellow players to prioritize safety over nostalgia. Ideally, SSO team should do what the developers of WOW did and make a special classic server, but I doubt this is gonna happen. Not due to the lack of demand, there's plenty, but because, while they're certainly a company and not an indie team, I don't know if they have the resources Blizzard has at their disposal. I would consider writing to SSO to share this idea because, as we say here in my country, "a try won't crucify". After all, not that long ago I wrote to them saying that a daily quest where players could earn a tiny bit of XP could be a good idea, and here we have one at Starshine Ranch. Hopefully this situation serves as a lesson for them, but only time will tell.

While we can't blame SSE/SSO for that incident, we can't forget that it's their lack of understanding, the fact they ignored their older clients, and constantly refused to pay attention to them which created the perfect field for it. It's mostly the reason why they didn't really were invested and barely acknowledged the event for a brief moment, accepting to speak about it would be recognizing that they are part of it.

Okay, I can't watch the full video as of right now, I certainly will, but regarding the launcher - many, many of you probably do happen to know the game Alicia Online. It's a revived game basically, and as of today, one man's job. When running the client, not much happens but when executing the game itself, there comes up an warning (if I remember correctly, the exact same type of warning shows up for bsso), it's shown up by Windows Defender, program that automatically comes up with Windows 11 and later versions of Windows 10. I don't know how it looks like for BSSO, but for AO it's an file in temporary files folder and when I put it in virustotal...I was shocked myself. Trojans, Keyloggers, ect. ect. but what's the real damage done? Well...none. Sometimes, it's just impossible not to trigger something like this too. (Oh and I just remembered that the warning only pops up during updating the game sorry, AO's been down for a while my memory os bad and I'm not gonna rewrite all that lmao) The reason being...I don't excatly know, but probably neither do programmers. It doesn't mean it's a false call for BSSO, absolutely not, I'm just saying that we know AO is safe, or at least was never really proven to be harmjng in any way (there are literally none microtransactions in-game too so I see no point kind of?) It is also the fact that AO is an old game, really old. No trojan warnings did pop-up on OSes like Windows 7, XP or god-forbidden 8/8.1, I also get those by just executing games that are old, not only trojan warnings too. Might be a Win 11 issue, might be the program issue, not quite sure, I'm not a programmer myself. So all I wanted to say is - uhm stay safe guys, my yappin' was long BUT maybe it will clarify the issues some of you might have with AO too :33 stay strong Alex and please work hard for your game and for us, the fans, we believe in you. I am anxious to see how the bsso situation unfolds in the months to come. Maybe it is was harboring malware, maybe it isn't. I just know I don't feel comfortable trying to find out myself. I am also anxious to see if this will pave the way for other private sso servers, as I would love to play one and get to play a classic version of sso again. Although, I do enjoy the game as it is currently. Which seems to be a unpopular opinion lol. For now though, I'll just play my cracked versions of the old sse games!

I played sso as a teen and actullay LOVE the new graphics. I came back to the game just a month ago after like 7 years. Took me a while to get used to the new detailed horses but I like it now, and I like the new gameplay (like Hollow Woods). Hi! I had a video idea. It seems like whatever sso does, players always hate it. Like the stable update. Players wanted it to be mre realistic but when the sso did it noone liked it. Same with the updated friesians. I get the point that they should have done it sooner or with the latest generation. But even after sso tries players are never happy. I think it would be an interesting deep dive. Since sso is trying to do what players want, but not a lot of people are happy with it. I know you already did a video like this but I think that ow that there are more quests and updates it would be interesting.

You do need a server to play any version on or offline of sso. But it's an online game, so online is the only version. You always need a server to play online games like sso.

If the fact people are willing to risk getting malware installed and their information stolen just to play old SSO one last time doesn't get the management team thinking, I don't know what will 🥴 They're obviously not going to do that because they're in shambles right now, but they could easily release an old version of the game (basically just Star Stable) in the form of a CD and charge the cost of a lifetime star rider for it. Many people who gave up on SSO completely by now would probably jump on the chance - I still log in from time to time, but God knows I would. SSO severely undermines the power of nostalgia and thinks it's only possible to cater to one demographic of players at any given time when that's simply not true.

I mean, there’s 8 Star Stable disc games that exist already. I don’t see why people who are hungry for nostalgia can’t seek those out. They’re not the exact same as Star Stable Online but they do have old graphics and old mechanics that old Star Stable Online used to have. @@sovereign__373 They're not available in every country for one, for two - they're not SSO. They're barely even in the same location, the Season Rider's maps don't have much in common with the current one (not to mention there's not much plot). Starshine Legacy is a playthrough you'll spend a couple of hours on tops, and just a prequel to SSO. My point is with the outdated code they use it's not impossible nor all that hard to make the game offline, they just won't do it because they think releasing more and more broken horses will make up for the money they lost because the game is boring.

I really wouldn't be surprised if one day sso does add a classic mode.. But one step at a time, guys. They're releasing story quests, like we asked. Now they're trying to add stable customization which is an active work in progress, like we asked. Next they'll probably turn their attention back towards unreleased areas and subplot storylines that have been left hanging for quite some time. But ultimately there wouldn't be a huge point in adding a 'classic mode' when the game itself is still being heavily worked on. Don't get me wrong, I criticize sso a lot... But come on, y'all. It really does feel like no one is giving them ANY credit. Y'all aren't even giving them a chance at this point. I wonder why a lot of you even play the game at this point when it really seems that no matter what they do you'll always be angry. You'll always be complaining. You'll always be disappointed. I wouldn't personally hold my hopes up. The old version will be filled with gen 1 and 2. They're removing them from the game bit by bit already. They don't do bug fixes on those at all anymore, so that same sentiment will probably be the same if an official classic sso version came out.

I tried it on a virtual machine and indeed it's a scam. I had to actually "hack" the launcher to get into the game because first it had connection issues and then it simply didn't launched the game. But after a while it actually started and I could play for a while... Until the quest to take care of my horse. As I couldn't move items. The same symptoms when the normal game loses connection with the server. So I did a little investigation and there's no server at all! Chat doesn't work, no other players around you and there was no network communications whatsoever. Even after unplugging the (virtual) cable the game didn't kicked me out with network error. He just bypassed the network component of the game so it actually load up but that's it. You can roam free in moorland, play the welcome race but that's it, since you can't pass the horse care quest no more areas can be opened.

Im assuming youre playing it without paying for star rider? Im pretty sure if you dont pay for it, you can play a 30 minute free trial. It doesnt allow you to play very far or with other people, but by paying you get full access.

This way it doesn't look like it's broken. If you're selling something and advertise it like you're getting a broken product without any ability to dispute, everyone will believe it's a scam since it could be and there's no way to get your money back if it is. Please consider these for the next version (if it's real, of course and not a scam).

This situation strangely reminds me of a brief Jenna Marbles story. One of her 'watching compilations of me' featured her watching a channel that took all of her videos and reposted them with Russian dubs. When she was asked why she didn't want to 'get them in trouble' she simply said "well, I'm not going to put in the effort to do that myself and it doesn't affect me" (paraphrasing). I think it's very telling that SSO players are so desperate to feel the old (better, lmao) vibes of the game that they are willing to risk their laptops but, like Jenna Marbles said, I personally don't think SSO would have any right to do anything about it unless they came out with their own 'SSO Vintage' or something along those lines. As it stands, my biggest gripe with BetterSSO is that it isn't free but I digress, lol

I must to say. The current team of star stable can put the old game to get, example for 20$. I think they can earn a lot of money by this. But maybe it's here a thing why they will don't want do this.

Thank you for this video, taking WoW and Dragon Age as examples helped to understand the situation. Better SSO should be a warning for the company. Old players don't like the game like they used to, everything that made the game likeable to them seems gone. And some are ready to take risks to play again the game they once loved. As a new player, I wished they didn't remove the cold tolerance, health bar of the horse, the old system care seems also better form what I saw in this video. In fact, I wish they kept what add realism in the game. It seems like the company aim the game for kids or forgot that the player from 2016-2017 grew up but still want to fell the nosalgia.

I know this is super random for me to comment this under a star stable related video. I was thinking if you could make a video about Horse Riding Tales, from what i've seen it's a mobile game that is free and can also be played on pc if i'm not wrong. I have stopped playing the game a long time ago because of the fact that it's mkre of a "pay to play" type of game in my perspective. Here, let me give an exaple. To enter a competition, you have to have gold. The gold can be achieved by selling or capturing horses, then selling them. But for all of that you need orbs. Yes orbs. You heard be correctly. To craft orbs, you have to collect resources.. it feels like minecraft if you ask me. This cycle repeats over and over again so you can complete quests. (I forgot to mention that you need resources to craft better tack.) Back to the competition part. For competition, you have to complete all the jumps correctly to get 3 starts. If you miss one jump. It's all over. For you to not mess up the jumps.. you need apples for the horses stamina And this is the part that annoys be the most. To earn apples. You have to either: 1. Win competitions to get a big amount of apples Or 2. Spend money. And oh boy the prices are ridiculous! I hope everything i stated made is clear and not confusing. I can't explain all of the game dynamics as this would take forever. I hope you read this! Thank you for reading

thats correct :) Ive played it for years without any actual computer problems, there were a couple times my antivirus picked it up as a trojan horse and therefore I sent the code to my friend who has worked for the government to develop firewalls and he said the code looked just fine and that it was just because its not licensed anymore :)

@@Pr0x1ma_ of course! lots and lots of people play it with no issues! so if you want to, it should be just fine! just find a tutorial to install it since most of it is not in english :) And dont expect the community to be great- Ive met some of the nicest people on there but most of the community is pretty bad- they say slurs a lot- so just as a little warning :))

My main account has gotten perm chat banned and I barely even use chat. I randomly had gotten chat banned for a month and after that month ended I had my chat for 4 days and then got perm. I heard it has happened to many other people. If u could make a video abt this and warn everyone that would be great.
