I remember my friends would randomly sing this on Fridays in 2002. I never saw this video, only my friend’s rendition of it. Almost 20 years later and ‘Today is Friday, I hope you have your shoes on... Donkey sneakers! It’s Friday!’ will sometimes randomly play in my head on a Friday. Now I finally know where it’s from.🤣

I'm in my early 30s and I now have a 1 year old son. I just told him how o ised to listen to this song as a kid and played this loud and he started dancing to it smiling and laughing...little things like this silly song as a kid is what made the 90s and early 2000s so amazing. Some things will never die like these good memories
