I like this type of dub change from the Japanese version. Giving Yusei amnesia in this one episode seems off at first but it actually fits the tone better, much better than him just not being interested in the kids & then getting roped into a match. Making the duel important for him to remember who he is & what he was doing is a smart way to explain why he even bothers to stay with these 2 strange children for so long without bad implications. And it builds things up for later just like the Japanese, but in a different way.

Jay Harv28 It has interesting characters, but by the end. It doesn’t even matter anymore. They all “die” and get erased when the world fuses back together. And Yuya was such an idiot, he didn’t know how to duel. He was all just “smile smile smile play play smile smile smile smile.” And didn’t even have a good dueling strategy, he just went around getting action cards, nd didn’t even bother explaining to his opponent what happened. Like wtf. And I’m fucking sad all the actual cool characters were “deleted” and we never saw them again.
