This will be a bit long but if you read this thank you. So from watching the subs recently I caught some lyrics that i related to so much to that I almost cried. So for context I have a bit of depression from living such an uneventful life not leaving the house not just due to covid but some debilitating medical issues and these lines resonated with me on a spiritual level. "What are you grasping for? What good will it do you? We're moving forward and we'll make sure to discover what." Im holding on for something but i dont know what yet. "We got busted up and learned... of where we can get stronger." I have several medical problems I need to overcome. "I pile up the dreams in my hand and one day I'll lead them all to you." Like someone's actually supporting me and what i yearn to do/achieve. (something along those lines) "Shouting the signal for the start, we'll do what our hearts want and vault over our cramped and mediocre lives!" Do I really need to explain? "We'll make a dash and attain every bit of our brilliant futures!" Writing this out is actually starting to make me cry and its hard to type teary eyed. Although this may not have been the intended meaning of these lyrics or even the proper translation, but it single handedly described my depression. Ok im officially crying. If this doesn't play at my funeral I'm not going. If you're wondering one of my dreams is to be a guitarist ive basically always been interested in instruments but never truly stuck to any long term except in band. Then it smacked me right in the face one day. "I want to play guitar. That's what I want to do in life." It'll be a journey but a welcome one. Wish me luck, and thank you for sitting through this wall of text if you got this far it means a lot.
