Dark magician Knight and Knights title are actually great in dark magician. he's literally the perfect allure Target you then play title send dark magician to the grave yard if you have magician of dark illusions you get the dark magician back off knights effect or eternal soul you then can use Knight and dark magician to get ebon use his effect too dark magician to the grave again to have Him ready for next turn all while banishing cards with dark magician circle.

You could put these staple cards in every rouge deck and call it top tier tbh like your profiles especially DM but the last 3 ones where you literally just put some staples were boring.... I think one thing that’s really led to power creep is cores that are so good they’re engines out can splash into so many other decks like gaurdragons. If archetypes has there own cards that were very powerful but only worked in there own archetype you wouldn’t be able to throw in super strong engines into everything

There's a 3 card combo to avoid nibiru and keep the GY clean to prevent apprentice and kykoo, it involves Topologic Zerobros, Dimension Shifter and soul release

I don't think this deck specifically has to worry about Nibiru but what one card is getting you Zeroboros? If you have Dimension Shifter and soul release, that means one card must make Zeroboros.

@@herfy5138 I'm afraid not, for one rod's effect isn't a mandatory effect and second the last effect to activate after skill drain would be illusion magic, so now you have 2 effects activating after rod's activation and as I mentioned earlier it isn't a mandatory effect. You shouldn't be able to resolve rod's effect.

Top tier bricks for sure! I play dark magicians so I'm grateful that you are bringing their decks to the channel, but this one is hardly good honestly. I suggest trying out Witchcrafter Golem Aruru, it's a great card for spellcasters in general. Also the field spell Flawless Perfection of Tenyi: it works basically like Eternal Soul (protection against effects) for any normal monster, without the drawback when destroyed.

Hey love the deck builds. Never heard of Kycoo before but like that play, sounds fun. Dingirsu sounds really good but for other matches why not do the lock with Dark magician the dragon knight and eternal soul? You can get it out with Keeper the dragon magic and maybe the Predaplant combo you did in your new Blue eyes build. Maybe Eye of timaeus but kinda slow due to no searchability. It's not really lock down all your opponent has to do is run over Dragon knight and chain a destruction effect to eternal soul

The Four Star Gamer that's part of the lock down. While you can run over it bringing it back with eternal soul if simple and just use swords of revealing light or threatening war to take care of it. Or if you don't use it but use Eye of timaeus, make a second one and use eternal soul to bring it back and have two. Thats when the lock happens by have two on the field and when one is destroyed you bring it back while the other is on the field to have three with only two. And it stops your opponent from destroying your cards.

Devin Rapp He’s saying that once they run over and destroy Dragon Knight, something any deck that uses a card like Borrelsword can do, they just blow up Eternal Soul before it can resurrect him. They can chain Twin Twisters to Eternal Soul trying to resurrect or even a negate. Basically Dragon Knight just isn’t worth it.

Not playing 3 apprentice magician is terrible. Nibiru MD is fine since everyone still wants to play combo until you face the true draco MU. Triple trap trick is good for control/stun based decks. Having access to the tenyi cards are also good, vishuda is basically a good starter card that sses itself.

Summon limit is a brick 99% of the time going second, it's better to play any other floodgates like Rivalry or Gozen as the can clear boards going second.

no, it resolves where the card is when resolving. if the negation is only on the field, then if at resolution your monster is in the GY, it resolves with no issue

No you're right. Effects resolve where they activate. But the thing is skill drain doesn't care where the effect activates and resolves, it only checks wether the monster Is on the field or not.

That monster is not really Essential for the deck.

Its Effect is "Decent" but Broads can easily be broken and quick so its not really that viable to have in the Deck. So... meaning your opponent he/she will see that card (and in case things happens) They WILL BE Targeting and Focusing their attention will be getting rid of Mana ASAP as Priority No 1.

A engine de windwitch no deck de DM não é mais tão boa quanto costumava ser antigamente, por isso a maioria dos players deixaram de usa-lá nessa build.

@@matheusmmariz por qual motivo? Ela confere 4 monstros diferentes do tipo spellcaster no cemitério, faltando um monstro para invocar o Quintet. Ela ainda trás no campo o Crystalwing que é basicamente o único monstro no deck que consegue bater em outros arquétipos, pq 2500 não dá, Blue-Eyes Chaos Max que o diga. E ainda é extremamente fácil de estabelecer o combo no campo, podendo ainda utilizar Rod ou Keep normal summon. DM sem Windwitch perde poder de fogo e dinamismo. A presença do Nibiru no meta atual por si só não torna o combo inviável. A real é que 1/3 do deck do Sam não se usa, não tem handtraps fora Nibiru, não tem magician of Dark Illusion, e ainda cisma em chutar o Kycoo ali. Meu deck de DM venceria este que o Sam trouxe. A maioria venceria. Não dá pra jogar DM minimamente competitivo sem o combo Windwitch. Simplesmente não dá.

@@RafaelSouza-oo2uq então mano, eu já joguei com a engine de windwitch (+ a de spellbook) no deck de DM até a exaustão e apesar de ser ótima para trazer o crystal wing, ela tem alguns sérios problemas: 01 - Consistência~ Você fica EXTREMAMENTE dependente de abrir com a Ice Bell, de modo que ela precisa vir na sua opening hand e no seu primeiro turno para você fazer os combos, porque a engine locka totalmente as suas special summons e assim sendo, tu fica limitado a trazer só o Crystal Wing e mais nenhum outro monstro, como por exemplo os Dark Magicians. 02 - Interação/Fragilidade~ Ela é EXTREMAMENTE suscetível a handtraps, de modo que qualquer uma delas para 100% o combo: veiler ou impermanence na glass bell para neg. efeito, ogre na remoção da ice bell e a ashe na ice bell da sua mão. Portanto você precisa estar com a called by the grave em mão, caso contrário pode sofrer qualquer uma das várias disrupts possíveis. 03 - Praticidade~ O Crystal Wing é um boss monster que tem uma negação de efeito (quick) que é um hard once per turn, o que implica dizer que depois de tu usar uma vez, não pode utilizar novamente. Ou seja, você tem que ter uma backrow junto dele que funcione e seja efetiva/eficaz pra combater as plays e as ações do oponente. Outra coisa, o efeito dele de battle só funciona com monstros de level, o que significa dizer que alguns xyz/links dão cabo dele com muita facilidade, vide Borrelsword, Borreload, Avramax, Knightmare Unicorn, Number 39S e por aí. Várias formas de remover ele. Sem contar os Kaijus, Super-Poly, Dark Ruler no More, Mind Control, Crackdown, etc... A protect dele vinda das windwitch é só para destruction effects, efeitos que targetam e não destroem ou que banem lidam facilmente com ele.

A utilidade dele é servir de 2° summon da Navi, ser nível 7 e ter um efeito de ressurect que é ok. No mais, não é tão bom assim. Até porque ele não conta como um DM no grave, só no campo, o que faz com que ele não possa ser trazido de volta pela Eternal Soul. Quanto ao Kycoo, ele é mais uma tech contra decks que banem muito do Grave, como Thunder e Orcust, por isso ele é uma mini-floodgate. Prático em alguns cenários. Fácilmente sideável.
