Constructive Feedback: This is probably one of the best large scale CGI projects I have ever seen on youtube. The scale to which you did this is enough to be impressed, but the things that stop this from really being a great project as a whole is the writing and storytelling. The production level, for being an amateur project, is super high, but a lot of the other core elements feel like they were written by high schoolers doing a group project. All of the actors did a great job in their roles (Khan and Elemental hero of the hood are legendary), but I'd say a lot of the bits that were included may have been funny as an idea, but weren't polished, worked on, or cleaned up enough to really hit the audience as well as they could have. I think this was something cool for a fan of yu gi oh to see, but there wasn't any real underlying narrative being told that would keep people invested. I'd say if you really want to turn this into something really good, try and find a quality comedian/writer to take on the storyline and scripting with you. I'm biased, but a team of actual young stand ups, rather than just funny people, who are organized in how they think is really all you need. You have the vision and honestly the humor to storyboard and plan these things out, but getting a really solid writing/planning team is all I think your missing. This may flop but your entering into a brand new space with this piece, Great work Jimmy

I found that to be the case. production level always high af but *sometimes* seems like the videos aren't going anywhere. Especially the Akatsuki videos. It's usually just them walking around town. Loved his public interview vids cuz they always had purpose and generally funnier

yeah I gotta agree with this; with this level of cgi and graphics I expected a stronger story throughout the tournament. Lots of the conversation between the characters was 1 or 2 line trash talking, and the pacing was all over the place too. Some cards that I expected to be really strong were destroyed with 1 card and other cards that seemed like weak or parody cards were played like they were the main trump cards and ended the duel.

Yo Jimmy here's my feedback on this: From a personal stand point I loved this series as an OG Yugioh fan/Anime fan, someone who understands all the mandarin and also enjoys the American and hood related references and humour, this series was INSANE. From a fellow creator standpoint - I know I'm just small time - but as others have pointed out I think the main thing that let the series down is the writing and a lot of the sexual/vulgar jokes. I think blending a lot of references about the hood with a lot of Mandarin humour and Yugioh things probably alienated a lot of people who didn't grow up with them. Yugioh unfortunately isn't anywhere near as popular as it used to be like 10-15 years ago as well so algorithm wise it's not really a trend. I feel like if these videos came out even 5 years ago they would have blown tf up. Gonna end it here cause I don't want this to be long asf but I hope you don't shy away from stuff like this in the future because when I saw that ep. 1 my jaw dropped bro, the CGI and production was some of the best I've ever seen on KZbin and it's clear you're trying to push new boundaries 🙌

I can agree with Atsu here, when I watched the beyblade tourney it was great cause the battles are just like in the anime but real-time. Sure there were jokes on the side but it actually felt like a REAL beyblade battle. This series was indeed great but I think it could have been more viewed if we actually put in the time to research the fighting aspect of it. Seeing YGO monsters come out of reality is indeed sick but what makes YGO so enticing is the strategy behind the game, the card combinations, the anticipation of counter-attacks and all these things. I was surprised when all these unrelated cards and race humor popped out, I laughed but also I was like "oh... so its not actually a serious YGO battle, but a parody of one" With all that said, impressive work, but learn from this as well. Great job!

Your joking, master duel went insanity on steam, never was yugioh more popular than now...duel links has over 100 million downloads. The net worth is by close to 300 million USD, with rising value and the ton of new players that were attracted trough master duel. Not a single card game has a competitive scene like yugioh, with ppg tour with a price money of up to 10k and the ycs series that take place in the biggest cities of the world to compete against thousands of other players in a 2 day tournament and of course at the end of each season there are national championships, continental championship and after all the world championship were the best players of tje entire world fight for the titel and get a chance to win a card that will be a very good investment for your future. (Similar to charizard first ed, as those cards usually only exist once).

It’s a little disappointing how these episodes are not getting nearly as enough attention as they should be! The time, quality, effort, and money that went into this was CRAZYYY! The Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk and Winged Dragon animations were really awesome. That Kurama animation was really great. Jimmy pulled a Madara Uchiha by using Edo Tensei.

I didn't know this existed....I don't like yugioh at all but the show has a place in my heart for being a super silly show about nonsense with a super cool protagonist. I think you might just need a silly click bait title to get it into the algorithm. It wasn't the funniest video ever. But for people subscribed this is a really nice treat.
