BTW after you finish collecting their deck, you can continue to duel them to aquire 3x of each card. Really the card shop is only for certain cards that aren't available in any story or challenge deck

something that I think should be mentioned is that you shouldn't be discouraged from using dp in the card shop altogether. just don't be reckless with it. if you got a pack that you only have 66 cards out of the 342 go ahead and spend some dp to bulk that number up. I typically bought packs until I had around half of the cards in that respective pack. also quick pro tip for making a cheat exodia deck you can get 3 pot of greed and graceful charity super early by just spending 2000 dp on the draft battle pack and playing it all the way out. just be sure to snatch them up when choosing your cards for the draft duel and remember to add the deck you build to the bulk

I'd like to point out that this doesn't work for every kind of deck/duelist. For example if you want to build a Lunalight deck (Fun, cause Cat Dancer is broken) you can get all the basic cards from Celina's reverse campaign duel with this method. However there isn't anywhere in the game where you can duel her for the advanced Lunalight cards. If you want Panther and Leo dancer you have to open Zuzu packs like you're shucking oysters for a giant beach barbecue. (As of this comment, I have 304/314 cards for her pack, and not a single Panther or Leo yet. Also the other Lunalights, like their fusion card, are in the Soulburner pack for some reason. So I have no choice but to fish through that too for the cards. I really wish this game had code entry for those 8 digit card codes like older games did.

I have a question maybe someone here can help me. So i did the story duels over and over again always getting cards but when I check the cardshop before and after the duel even when I get 3 cards the cardshop numbers of owned cards don’t change (sometimes). So is that because you can’t get all cards from the shop or what? Or can you get more than 3 times the same cards also from duels.

Sorry for the late reply but it’s pretty much the cards earned via campaign and duelist challenges are marked and accounted for differently then the cards in the cardshop. That’s why it’s best to duel for your cards (In my opinion) the deal with the cardshop randomize system

I tracked the time for using an almost perfect exodia deck with 95% win rate. I needed 2minutes and 20 seconds at best. In the same time I could surrender 4-5 times. Including all loading screens. Although winning is more fun Rounded up I get 2000DP and 3 Cards at best for winning Surrender gets me 1 card and minimum 600 Dp at worst. If I spend one hour farming I can win roughly 23 duels and loose maybe 1 and get 45k and 70 cards (very optimistic and most likely less DP) At the very worst I can surrender 95 times and get 57k DP and 95 cards. 35% more cards 25% more DP at worst. .

You’ll have to get them in the card shop. Blue Eyes Max Dragon is in the Seto Kaiba pack

Sorry for the late reply. With the update to the game with the V-Rains content there’s new cards only available in the V-Rains section of the card shop. Depending on what your trying to build to go to character is Blue Angel she has the best new utility cards in the card shop

This method works for most cards, but not all. When they expanded Vrains, they added a bunch of new cards, not all of which are obtainable through dueling. I'd say about 5% of the cards are not in any deck. That's just a guess, so don't quote me on it.

Yes, you are 100 percent correct. Keep in mind because you will be spending the majority of your time farming through Story & Duelist Challenge you should have a considerable amount to points to just spend on the V-Rains packs.

Also please keep in mind there are options like the cardhub and other online spread sheets so you can open packs for efficiently, granted the RCG (Random Card Generator) is still hit miss the the ratios for rare to common are not horrible

I personally prefer the exodia method only because you don’t have to be in situations were you have to interact with your opponent if your going second for example if they set up back row most CPU run negate attack, Wabaku, or just cards in general that protects them from a attack or there life points for taking damage.
