I said this in another video, but I think it's worth saying here as well, as a personal observation: If Dark Magician was not Yugi's Ace card, Cosmo Queen would have been the Boss Monster of DARK / Spellcaster decks. I can only imagine what the McDonald's pack version would cost if that was the case.

DD Warrior came out much earlier in the OCG and it did see some play over there to banish battle tutors (like Mystic Tomato)

Starter deck pegasus in the ocg had toon table of contents. Those ocg starter decks were awesome for character duels. Glad the tcg adapted to that with the legendary decks in 2015-2017 by actually printing cards used by the characters and not random stuff

I got lucky a few years back and found 2 TP7 Breakers in a random binder/collection pick-up. Sold one and kept the other, though the price has shot up waaaay past what I sold that one for now. Same with a Fortress Whale that I found in the back of a different binder - bought the whole binder for £50 and sold the Whale for £100 in its own. I think its worth double that now, easily.

Do you play anymore? I seen some of your OG deck videos from 2003 and 2004. They brought back a bunch of great memories and motivated me to rebuild one of my old deck for old time's sake. I used to love beatdown decks since that was the meta. But I moved on to yata garasu and clown control for a bit before losing touch with the game since my friends stopped playing.

I think I have only seen a Tournament Pack once in my entire lifetime, and I think I did buy 1 or 2 of them from a card shop over a decade ago when I was staying at the ocean shore for a little while. From what I remember, I think I do remember pulling a super rare Ryu Senshi. 😀

I find it weird that TP Breaker is more expensive than the MFC one considering the Ultra Rares are usually more sought after than the super rares but I understand why it's like that.

The mcdonalds promos are cool. I don't ever remember my local mcdonalds giving out cards but I really wanted them back in the day. I thought it was a myth that they gave out cards until I heard about it on the internet 12 years ago.
