i think you all dont really get the point of my first comment. it is a satire comment focusing on that Konami again short and highrarity printed an engine, important for various decks. with my complaint about that i dont have 150€ spare i dint complain about me dont having any money because i know that this is my fault, but about Konami making broken staple cards shortprinted and because of that extreme expensive (again). the actual concept of shortprinting cards is in itself ok but only if the cards shortprinted dont belong to a very splashable borderline broken engine. i wouldnt complain if they shortprinted e.g. Raye because she belongs only to the sky striker deck and isnt a staple in almost every deck ever. (btw you guys are very impolite)

Arjan Zweers 3 overflow is a must, doesn't really brick as this deck cannot break 4 interruptions in 1 turn regardless so you have to handle half of it turn 1 and half during your opponents turn. Also I hate overload and probably wont be playing it in the future Oh and also I dislike cyber eltanin, huge brick that contributed to an insane amount of losses

i got a few questions... Why hands traps? to draw them in an opening hand and realize you bricked? Why hornet drones? so you cant special summon cyber dragon? Why waste 3 extra deck spots for sky strikers when hornet drones says "if you control no monsters in your main monster zones?" Why Pleiades? Why just 1 rampage? Why just 1 megafleet? Why Summon sorceress when core's effect is on normal summon? Why no cyber dragon Drei/Vier? Why trap cards?

I think you just need to read the cards and think for a moment to answer your own questions but I'll oblige you anyway. 1. Because this deck wants to go second and Hand Traps stop your opponent from putting up an unbreakable board that you can't OTK through. They're also a staple in the game now. If you want to be competitive you're deck needs to have at least 3 Ash. 2. Hornet Drone is ridiculous in this deck. Resolving Hornet Drones with a Cydra monster leads to a free Summon Sorceress. If that Cydra monster is Core, your board is even more insane. They also make going first a lot easier. Going first with Hornet Drones + Core ends you on Sieger+Gryphon. 3. ....You need to learn how to play Sky Striker 4. B/c Pleiades is another really good form of interruption...? Common sense lmao. You also can't use Infinity's effect to use Nova as a stepping stone more than once a turn so if you go first you can establish Infinity+Pleiades. 5. It's not AS needed anymore now that we have Sieger and Summon Sorc. Mostly personal preference. 6. See above answer. 7. ...You're not required to summon core off of Summon Sorc 8. Drei is garbage now. If it's not Core you don't want to be normal summoning it. Vier is also personal preference. 9. Because the Trap card is really good going first, although I'm also a bit iffy on maining 3

Skystrikers is expensive and there are better ways to be more consistent like cyber rev at 3 just to name one way. Cyber eltinon is a must have board wipe and insurance policy. But I like how creative the deck is. Adding a new engine to breathe new life into cybers.

Rev is awfull at 3. This card doesnt do much by itself, its +0 at best, and in bad hand its just a straight -1not to mention that if you draw 2 its a flat brick.its a searchable extender that you can only use opt. Either run 1 or 0.

apocalipsenearby You have no clue of cyber dragons. Please learn to play then :) You have to run 2 repair plants because it almost never bricks. It's not once per turn and can special summon your Sieger from grave with can enable huge plays. Playing only 1 is not very smart but it is ok. Playing 0 is just dumb and for people who want to lose the duel. Think and then give tips please!

Nah, he’s wildin, with the machine dupes and repair plant. If you can’t dump a cydra first turn you are running too little cydra’s, and if you resolve machine dupe drawing another is a brick

Tristan Zabinski if you have hornet core machine dupe idk why you would panick that hand is nuts, and cyber DOES conflict with hornet but you only feel it's drawback when you CANNOT push for anything with the rest of your hand, I usually don't mind having 1 or 2 dead cards in my hand if I can go for a solid play anyways

Now I know that Skystrikers are one of the best engines in the meta right now and it'd be nice to have a t least one engage in your deck but I'm broke asf so I prefer using the Symphonic Warrior pendulum engine which helps a lot with bringing out Nova and then Infinity and it's really easy to use. I think that a Cyber Dragon Vier is also necessary in the deck (play only 1 tho) cause it helps a bit with Link Summoning?? Also Panzer Dragon and Instant Fusions my doods, that's all I have to say

Repair Plant is a hard once per turn and has a really restrictive activation condition. While Cyber Emergency is also a hard once per turn, it doesn't have that restriction. Additionally, Core can search repair plant when you need it, and Cyber Emergency can search Core.

Rivalry is a good call in this deck. Revsystem is one if not your best starter/extender, so I don't agree with him on that one. The trap card isn't that good unless you play a lot of different level cyber dragon monsters. Eltanin is low key broken. Also if you're going for the OTK droll is way better in most match ups, except BA lol then it does basically nothing.

Revsystem is a 2 off at best. Opening multiples is terrible if you don't have a starter. Remember that Core, Herz, and Vier aren't Cyber Dragon in the hand so you can't spec them from there. It's a searchable extender so there's no need for multiples. The Trap is searchable disruption going first that your opponent won't be able to play around because they don't know how many you're going to banish. He's playing Cydra, Core, and herz. That's a maximum of three pops. That's insane. Even two pops is good. Eltanin is low key broken but you banish all your resources to hope your opponent doesn't have an answer for it on their next turn.

Sky strikers are unnecessary. I have a build that only runs honest and veiler as handtraps and the rest is pure cyber dragon. Admittedly I do use summon sorceress for some extra boost to consistency plus if you SS herz he becomes a level 5 for an easy infinity. P.s: I went undefeated at my locals with my build too :)

The people at your locals must have been playing yugi starter decks JK. The sky strikers may not be unnecessary, but as of right now, they are undeniably the better, more powerful build. Resolving Hornet Drones successfully with a Cydra monster on field is an automatic summon sorc, Gryphon, Borrelsword, or whatever else you want to make. I suggest giving them a try before choosing to play Honest over them lmao. There should be no need for Honest in a Cydra deck now that we have Sieger. It has no synergy apart from being a light discard outlet for Galaxy Soldier.

Fully disagree with only 1 Cyber Repair Plant. I play 3 because I want to search galaxy soldier as often as possible. And games where I can't dump a cyber dragon are not games I'm winning anyway so I don't see the harm in maximising on it. Also disagree with upstart, Herz + Nova is 8400.
