The 1/10/100/1000/10,000 thing is a bit of Japanese wordplay that is lost in translation. In the original Japanese version, he is called Manjoume. In Japanese, the standard honorific people use is "-san," and one of the most common article words is "da." Thus, people tend to address him as "Manjome-san da." "San da" is very similar to how Japanese people pronounce the English word "thunder." "San" is also Japanese for three (hence why he has so many trios in his deck) and "10,000" is often used as an arbitrary "random high number" like how English speakers use "a million." Thus, we get the nickname "Manjoume Thunder" with the catchphrase consisting of "1! 10! 100! 1,000! Manjoume Thunder!" Eventually, it would get an upgrade to 10,000. In English, this was replaced with "The Chazz" and "Chazz it up!" respectively. This is also why the retrained Armed Dragon cards were called "Armed Dragon Thunder" and why Level 10's effects are so different.

This card would genuinely be extremely powerful and yet probably not used. It's a counter trap so it can't be responded to except by other counter traps. And its effects, ALL OF THEM, are busted. That being said, it's unsearchable by most decks. So it could easily languish in non-usability. And it being a trap, it's also slow.

The solemns especially are Omninegates you can't respond to without another counter trap. But if we ever did get such a thing as a "Counter Trap Labrynth" (essentially an archetype supporting generic counter traps the way Labrynth does with normal traps) then yeah I could see it being used.

I still would love to see this series for the manga versions of the GX series since pretty much every character who was in both the manga and anime had very different decks. For example instead of Alexis having her Saber ritual monster deck from the anime her deck was an ice princess deck. Another example would be for Jaden instead of his ace monster being Elemental Hero Flame Wignman it was Elemental Hero Terra Firma, and instead of Jaden’s new deck being Neo Spacians his new deck was Vision Heroes.

chazz is a role model. one of the better ones. he starts off mean and clumsy- and by acknowledging and accepting himself he becomes an absolute powerhouse. i like him for the same reason i like yusei fudo; he has to squeeze every bit of positive momentum from scrap he can and eventually the term "trash" becomes relative.

Funnily enough, White Veil saw a fair amount of play in Duel Links not because it was good, but because when you reached King of Games status you had nothing to play for but Konami still tried to encourage people to play a specific number of times per day for certain rewards and surrenders did not count. Therefore, for a while White Veil was very common to see in King of Games duels because it could burn you for 3000 LP damage. And with a starting LP of 4000 all you needed was one more card like Cosmic Cyclone (which you could use on White Veil) and you had yourself a nice quick way to lose, often before your opponent even had a turn. You get the rewards of PVP dueling without having to sit and watch your opponent going through long combos.

I actually had some unexpected success in duel links by using an Ojama deck. Chazz's ability to bring out Ojama land was great allowing me to easily assemble Ojamas for easy fusion combos for Ojama King or Ojama Knight, who with the smaller summoning zones allowed me to block opponents out better. The Ojama land also was useful in messing up my oppenents' high attack monsters as it switched att/def. I always found it funny that because of this setup, my main beat stick was Big Shield Gardna, a four-star 2600 def monster.

Ah Chaos Necromancer, in the earrrrly days of Duel Links I terrorized my friend with a 30 (or 37 with one of Jesse's skills) card deck of 3x Chaos Necromancer, 3x Magical Merchant, 1 Monster Reincarnation and the rest stuffed with mainly recruiters such as Bubonic Vermin to stall. It was definitely on of the decks of all time.

All Ojama Trio needed was "cannot be used for extra deck monsters" and it would be playable. Hek, although the link monsters didn't exist yet when it was released, "cannot be used for ink material" would have been enough as most decks can't do much with a level 3 tuner and a bunch of level 2 nothings and fusion monsters need a spell card to summon unless they are from a broken archetype. Likewise, the fact that they can be used for a ritual summon doesn't hurt them that much since the opponent needs to draw into the card.

Iv been using this deck to get some nice wins against some actual decks, however it just needs a fews things. A wishlist of Chazz if you will; Remake: VW and possibly X Vanilla Ojama trio Ojamuscle (doesnt work with onama king zone lock.) Wishlist: Ojama fusion Ojama link 1 or 2 monster Ojama boss monster protection More armed dragon support. 2 armed dragon lightnings dont stack and ojama pajama is usually better. Also any ojama spell recovery would be nice. And giving out the 4 armed dragon thunder lv 10 effects to the lower ones to have would be nice. Not worrying about enemy controller with lv 5 would be nice The minute you get passed the Max C/Ash Blossom game, this deck can actually tear the field up. I recommend double ABC rather than vanilla ojama trio for consistency since it gives you more unions and less vanilla ojamas

So, please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the two Ring combo works properly, at least, not in the TCG. Ring of Defense is a quick-play spell, meaning that it takes priority, no? Ring of Destruction explicitly says “inflict damage to your opponent, equal to the damage you took”. But Ring of Defense explicitly says “Make that effect damage 0”. So, assuming I’m understanding correctly, RoDest. blows up an opponent’s monster, then you would take damage equal to the monster’s original attack, but RoDef. reduces the damage to zero. Then, because you took 0 damage, your opponent also takes 0 damage.

'VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon' would also be one of my most important cards. Once in Duel Links ranked, IIRC, I actually managed to get VWXYZ, 'The Atmosphere', and some backrow out at the same time. Then my opponent proceeded to use snipe hunter to successfully destroy everything on my field one by one. That day, I concluded that yugioh sucks lol.

0:35 Idea for an Equip Card version of this: _Ring of Self-Destruction_ Equip Spell _Unaffected by card effects while equipped to a monster. The Equipped monster is unaffected by card effects (Except this equipped card’s), but it’s own effects are negated. The Equipped monster gains ATK equal to it’s DEF, and DEF equal to it’s ATK, and can attack all of your opponents monsters once each, and deals piercing battle damage if it attacks a defense position monster. If the equipped monster leaves the field, all monsters on the field who’s ATK or DEF are less than the equipped monster’s total ATK/DEF are negated and destroyed, then both players take damage equal to it’s total ATK/DEF. If the duel would end in a draw because of this effect, the owner of this card loses instead._

A strictly better version of Ring of Defense would be Barrel Behind the Door. Combine that with Ring of Destruction would be devastating because it would cause your opponent to be burned by Ring of Destruction's effect not once, but twice.
