Day 1 of asking Scru to react to "Ghost Stories Funny Dub Moments". - The anime show, "Ghost Stories" is deeply steeped in the Japanese side of things due to the nature of the Ghosts, that they didn't think it was gonna do well with western audiences, and neither did most of the animation companies they brought it to. The only way that they got people to take it was by telling them "So long as you don't change the general story structure, the name of the Ghosts, or how they're beaten, you can do anything you want with the dub." The voice actors heard that "anything" goes and decided that it would become what basically amounted to the world's first ever abridged series, but as an official licensed production. They even made it a bit of a contest to see who could make the most outlandish/offensive lines for their characters. It's from around early 2000s so some of the topics / jokes are outdated, ofcourse, but it's still hilarious. DISCLAIMER: ALOT of their jokes can be offensive if you go into this taking the dub seriously.
