The z fighters don’t jump in because most of them are too weak to do anything. Post Saiyen saga, you basically have to be non human to be able to grow your power enough to do something otherwise you’ll be too slow and get in the way

DB characters have tried to jump somebody before. Piccolo and Goku jumped Raditz and it worked… the only time a jumping worked in DB. They tried jumping Broly and Jiren. Never really worked against Broly and it took a few tries but they eventually successfully jumped Jiren. There are a few others.

for the record, DBZ in the early days did tag team but the opponents where usually strong enough to shrug them off. as for Frieza it was not until Goku transformed into Supper Saiyan that he was a mach for him. Krillin kid Gohan and Vegta would not have been able to touch him, even if they were seamlessly working together.

The character flaw in the pure saiyans is pride. Goku doesn't care much about saving the world. He just wants to fight the strongest people, and they just happen to be villains. Vegeta wants to prove he's the strongest and can't do that by jumping. At one point did he kill Napa? When Napa tossed aside his pride and asked for Vegeta to help him lol
