​@@gremae3910​I totally agree. I get the feeling that the popularity of jujutsu kaisen comes a lot from "hot" characters and great-animated anime but not so many note how well-thought this series is. The plot may seem generic at first but it is really consistent and pleasurable to watch/read. Characters are realistic and various. Every one of them has different motives, goals and personality. Their design is cool and can show some of character's traits. There are a lot of different kinds of relationships between characters. Even if some of them are distinguishable just because of their one attribute (e.g being the strongest or being the evil king of curses), it's doesn't end on it and there is more to these characters' personality. Events that happen can be related to the past and have consequences in the future. There are parallels that give a sense of connection of the whole story. Of course as every series it has some flaws (as a little too fast pacing in the manga right now, at least in my opinion), but it is still a great series. I don't like when people compare jujutsu kaisen to others anime or say it is a copy of one. Gege did inspire by some series, but saying something like "it's just a copy of Naruto" is really dumb. I hope that over time jjk will get its own title in the most popular shounens as an anime that is also unique in its own way and that does have something what other shounens don't have, as it was with hunter x hunter. At first it didn't look like anything special but later on it gained popularity for its remarkable story and characters.

@@wokluski yes i sTRONGLY agreE!!! i very much like,correct me if im wrong, Ohara's (yt channel) take on each character. i think the interpretation about the curse techniques saying they're psychological is really cool!! the domain expansion is ultimate realization of their abilities. like in megumi's case before he was able to perform domain expansion because he believed he could, then he said something "spit out the entire depths of your shadow and worry about the structure later" and thus the incomplete domain. or maybe it was obvious and i was just really not that quick to get it xD but nonetheless that was so cool!!!!
