I live and work in Belgium. There are certainly job opportunities here in IT sector, or Medical sector. But you have speak, read and write Dutch or French to get a job according to your qualifications and skills. For example, Indian nurses have to study here in Dutch an extra course according to the Belgian norms, medical laws here. There are many Malayalee students here in Leuven university. I wonder if they get any job here because of the language barrier, also it is more expensive and complicated to employ somebody from Non EU country. Remember that, they prefer to employ their own citizens first, then there is big competition from students seeking job from other countries also. The luckiest or the smartest get through

Salary is not the only criteria for IT people these days… if anything, Covid has taught us to prioritise work life balance more than anything… Indian work culture has yet to evolve a lot… I live in Germany, and here government is trying out a proposal of 4-day work week for a period of 6 months, with some 40 odd companies signing up for this proposal… can you imagine something remotely close coming up in India ? No.

@@corwolf3227 no one is going recruit students in IT filed.. Ireland is a small country their income source is mainly from service sector job mainly financial and IT. Some Pharma companies also operates from Ireland. But most of these job are predominantly reserved for Irish origins.. educated Irish people prefer to work in USA, UK and Middle East for better income. Even people moves to Ireland in dependent visas find it difficult to get a better job. Most of these media reports are paid news promoted by recruiters.
