Maybe they don't like the editing, maybe they don't like her accent, maybe they are just trolls. Doesn't mean they don't find it helpful, they just DIS-like the video, they don't like it. You will never find a video with over 500 likes and NO dislikes, it's impossible. As entertaining, and perfect as it is, there WILL be dislikes.

Doumo Arigato. This helped a lot so i understand these numbers better. I am learning Japanese and hope to be fluent by the time i go into college. Although, it wont be easy unless i practice every day. And numbers is one i had a hard time figuring out. I am using duolingo and it us helping, but sometimes you just need more. So i am happy there are amazing people out there that will do tutorials like this for people struggling to learn. And again, thank you very much. Sayounara.

Greetings from India!. I had been learning Karate and in dojo our sensei used to count in Japanese usually from 1-10 or 20 which seemed hard to learn to me. On your video I am so surprised to see that Japanese counting is so simple at least from 1-100 not only to remember but to pronounce as well. A very simple logic. In contrast counting in Hindi is complex from 0-100 since each count is pronounced differently. after 100 it becomes simple like Japanese. Thanks a lot for the nice tutorial. :)

Hi! I am currently trying to learn all around and I am focusing on the numbers at the moment.. My question is, when you got to 11, do the Japanese symbols stay separated when you type it out? Or is it all one combination? Is it “ju u i chi”, or is it “juuichi”? Thank you so much for this video, and I hope you see this comment!

Skyler-san, Firstly, we normally don't use Romaji nor Hiragana to spell numbers (I added Romaji to this lesson for viewers to know the pronunciations). Secondly, when we write in Hiragana, Katakana & Kanji, we traditionally don't leave any spaces, so if I need to spell 11 in Hiragana (our phonetic alphabets) it will be じゅういち. Since we don't leave any space in writing a sentence, it is very hard for us to read if it's entirely written in Hiragana alone. That's why we use Kanji, which greatly helps us to instantly recognize the units in the sentence as well as the meaning of each word. "My name is Yuko." わたしのなまえはゆうこです。(Hiragana only) 私の名前は裕子です。(with Kanji) Hope this helps!

why you don't use kanji in all your videos only hiragana ! we need the kanji while learning Japanese it would have been better if the number was written in kanji and hiragana i don't like that i don't see kanji in all the videos i hope you will add kanji .. anyways your channel is really helpful so thank you
