AD എന്നത് , മൂന്നാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ Diocletian എന്ന റോമൻ ചക്രവർത്തിയുടെ കാലഘട്ടത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന Anno Diocletiani എന്നായിരുന്നു . പിന്നീട് ആറാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലാണ് Anno Domini എന്നാക്കിയത് .

So no surprises. Why didn't Augustus Caesar or Tiberius Caesar, who ruled during Jesus's time use AD and BC in their calendar? So AD and BC are still being used as a matter of convenience, not a proof of Jesus's existence. Do you prove the existence of Norse god Thor by still using "Thursday", or the existence of Roman God Mars because you still use "March"?

Was a nice debate.... Unlike many atheists Adv Rajgopal was a gentleman, yet he interfered when Pastor was commenting on the subject breaking the decorum. Pastor were linking and commenting with perfection on the subject with perfect reply on each question Adv tagged.
