AAWW.... my wife loves that stuff too. Nice try Bryan 👍🏻 Good to know. However- I read that cranberries natural, come out good! Rehydrate & add sugar.

I freeze dried cranberry relish made with fresh cranberries,oranges and sugar. It came out great,absolutely wonderful. Try it that way. Jellied,canned cranberry sauce isn't very good out of the can

It's a slow go and it's crunch time. 24 hours later and the machine wants another 10 hours and a prelim check says cherries, pineapple, and cranberry and alcohol aren't doing so hot. To be continued...unsure if the ice cream I want to do next will make it in or out before T-Day!

@@rock3908 The cherries were great! Try them you wont be disappointed. The alcohol wasn't great to me but the person I did the frenet for loved it!

I am fairly new to freeze drying. Your videos have been so helpful. I had to add 6 hours to chicken breasts (too thick, not quite dry). I just took out the chicken ( it was completed in the wee small hours, but I just now took them out - 12 hours later) and the trays are very cold. Aren’t they usually warm. Did I screw up? Thanks Brian.

At a certain fancy restaurant they freeze dry ketchup into squares and place them in burgers. Yummy they also freeze dry berries and crumble it on top of pastries. Double yum.

Freeze dry cranberry sauce again but water it down 2 parts water 1 part Cranberry sauce...it should freeze dry quite a bit better...js

U could try mashing it up with malto dextrin... Or corn starch..then freeze drying🤔🤔🤔

You should try adding a little water to it and blending it then freeze drying it. That might make it less hard

I sliced up hot dogs in little disks and they freeze dried good with fat noticeable on the disks. They can be used in beans and other mixes.

weigh the stuff before freeze drying and after. The difference is the water content. It's a sauce not a sweet. Treat it like a sauce for christs sake. This is the silliest experiment and most unfair you've put forward. Very happy with all your other content though. Compare apples to apples and in context.
