When I was in college I worked part time at Channel Home Center and there was an older gentleman who worked there who was like a second grandfather to me and he would bring me in homemade pierogi and other foods of his culture and they were delicious!! I haven't had homemade since then so I will be right over; set me a spot at the table because these look amazing!!!

Unfortunately, they are already gone, but you now have the information to make your own. Let me know how they turn out, and thanks for watching!

These look really good. I usually just buy the kind from the grocery store, but I bet homemade ones are incredible. Didn't look like they were too difficult to make. Thanks for sharing the process.

Unless we make them, we also buy the frozen pierogi. Thanks for watching and commenting!

TEAM LUMBERJACK! So that's how you make them. I noticed Wegmans butter! Spending most of my life in Rochester NY, I'm all to familiar with Wegmans. I miss those stores. Nice job guys!

Like me, many people eat them, but don't know how to make them. Here at LumberjackPa, we're all about education and training, and if that doesn't work, we resort to comedy! There's a Wegmans about fifteen minutes from us here in southeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks for watching and supporting us!

I do watch your hiking videos, but due to the length of them, I watch on the large screen, bad thing is, I can't comment that way. Great to see a cooking video from you though! Pierogis and a guy in PA? Tiny pizza dough,...yes! Sounds like you approve! I like it too!

I watch on my TV via casting KZbin videos from my phone and commenting using my phone. There's lots of Eastern European immigrants in my area, and pierogi is a thing here. I definitely approve! Thanks for watching and commenting, Frozen Pizza King!

Having grown up on my Italian grandmothers home cooking those look absolutely delicious. Very similar to how they make dumplings in Taiwan. Only difference is the stuff you put inside. Just need a few BAMS! and you'll be the next Emeril
@LumberjackPa3 ай бұрын
Thanks, Ron! It's definitely neat to make that your ancestors enjoyed. It's gonna take quite a few BAMS to get to Emeril status, but one can hope.

Boy , I don't know....my monitor must need calibration. I swear that was 9/64" not 1/8", but you were there, not me. I am saving this video, I haven't made pierogi's in a few years. Thank You!
@LumberjackPa3 ай бұрын
I can use 9/64" but 5/32" is out of my tolerance zone. I am happy that you have found this video useful.

I sure know that pierogis are not easy to make...they do take a certain knack and patience...not something made at the last minute for sure! Awesome stuff though...awesome!!
