One of my family members has a turtle in the tiniest tank you've ever seen, it only has a normal lamp and only gets fed plain salad. I've been trying for years to tell them how they can improve, or give it to me so I can take proper care of it. My Auntie has 3 Female Cats that look EXACTLY the same, only her can tell who's who. The first and the oldest, is Mendy. She was adopted and accoring to my auntie she is sometimes grumpy XD, but hey, she's a cat. I know when it's her because she has a white streak on her chest, since she is 7/8 Years old. The second is Jade, auntie found her abandoned on the road and took her home. She is the most active cat you'll see. Jade always wants to play everytime i arrived in the house and also is adorable in general. The last but not least is Berry, the youngest. She was rescued from a house where the kids abused her, by hitting and throwing water at her and even so, the parents didn't care. When i first met Berry, she ran away and hid from me, because of the trauma. After 2 Years she was rescued she got over it, and now she isn't scared of kids anymore. She is also slightly overweight because of how much she ate at her old "home", Auntie is trying her best to make her a healthy, happy young cat again. And they're all black cats with yellow eyes that constantly freak me out at night. I hope they're enjoying the best of their lives :]

Chameleons are generally shy cautious and solitary creatures. I have had turtles for years, and the red slider tank is actually a good set up for it. they are young and the size of it is appropriate for its age, otherwise it cant find its food. shallow tubs are used by most turtle owners because of there fluctuation i size but also there open lid ability. The set up is actually pretty good.
@nerlana12813 жыл бұрын
It didn't look like there was a basking area or basking lamp with UVB either though. She even said it looks okay for now but definitely not long term. Also turtles aren't the smartest and they could eat the gravel on the bottom thinking it was food.

@@s.pellathy7340 very very tiny pebbles and usually only when they hunt down a large prey item like a medium fish to help digest it quicker same as crocodiles. Plastic containers are not suitable as aquariums, they may fail to hold the water and then it'll explode because it is not ment to hold water. A cheap alternative to a glass fish tank is stock tubs, they are ment to hold water and they don't have any chemicals that leach into the water. You can get a 100 gallon for 200-400 AUD. Since they are made for stock animals to drink from it wouldn't harm fish and it won't collapse, all can be used for fish, when shopping online, if you look at the description it may say for stock animals, emus and fish.

I’m just wondering HOW do you put plants in your fish tank? Do you put them in before you have your fish? How do you put those kinds of plants in while you have fish? I hear plants can even beneficial but in what way? And just so on and so forth…I have to do my research in that.

Hello :D!! So, I currently own one cockatiel ( a 6 month old), and I was wondering if/when I should try introducing another cockatiel to him? He can be a little aggressive towards other birds (I also own a conure, sometimes they will groom eachother, and sometimes I'd have to seperate my cockatiel from him) Knowing that cockatiels can live to 25, I wouldn't want him to be alone in his cage while I'm busy with work in the future since they're very social animals :( Also, what would be some good ways to slowly introduce my cockatiel to another tiel? Videos, answers, articles, etc. everything helps, thank you :D!!

Is my petsstore the only one who recommends bigger Cages rather than smaller ones? They dont have small Cages and yeah they sell hamsters and fish and their Cages/Tanks are Like really big and good. I live in Germany, maybe thats why we have MOSTLY good petcare

Minimum hamster floor space is 450 inches and just buy a clear storage bin from Walmart then buy cookie racks and put a hole in the lid a bit smaller than the cookie rack then put holes in the lid and ziptie the cookie rack on and you got yourself a cheep hamster cage or mouse cage i did it and it cost me around $40 and my bin cage has 594 sq in of floor space

How would you sterilize new decorations for a fishtank? I’ve heard you can dip them in boiling water, is that true?
@sodapets3 жыл бұрын
Yup boiling them is the best way! Don't use any soaps or anything

Waaa my family has a pet pufferfish in a way too small tank... And there’s not much decorations and plants. I keep telling them that they should use a way bigger tank but they don’t listen! I feel so bad for the fish :( I hope they will one day though,,
