The best part about him is if you listen to live recordings is he almost sounds identical, in fact he sang on like a version and it even sounded better than the studio version, not to mention the grain in his voice comes through clearer live.

He amazes me every time. I watched an interview of the 10 things he can't live without and in it his inhaler is one of the things. It blows my mind how wild, crazy and hype he is in his performances then has to take a puff on his inhaler.

Manchester is the closest city to Doncaster that people recognize. I’ve never heard of Leeds before. He said in an interview that he says Manchester for just that reason. But to be fair in every interview I’ve seen he says he is just Don from Donny (Doncaster).

This would be SO much better if it wasn't paused every 5 seconds, killing the flow. But otherwise it's a great song when you listen to it all the way through. You also ended it before the last bit of the video could play. There's a nice effect at the very end.

Especially in older videos Yungblud often says that he's from Doncaster but I do see why it's easier for him to say Manchester because even in Europe most people wouldn't know Doncaster or even Leeds and since he spends a lot of his time in the US he's picking the next big city that people there might know Concerning genre I'd classify Yungblud as punk since he has quite the punk rock mindset and bands that have a similar sound to him self identify as generally punk. Also genre is dead and punk killed it with bands like Enter Shikari who are mixing Hardcore and electronic music and most "newer" bands in the punk/alternative scene can't really be put into one subgenre without ignoring a big part of their sound. SWMRS have a similar sound to Yungblud, Trash Boat mix pop punk with hardcore, As It Is mix pop punk with post hardcore (and have with reimagines of the songs off their most recent album shown that they can do everything from Jazz to hardcore), Woes mix pop punk with trap, Capstan have their own mix of prog, hardcore and pop punk and there are so many other great bands that bend the boundaries of genre
