As the other spoilers touch on, but expanded: It's hinted that she's the ACTUAL heir to the Bastorian throne(aka a Werelion) turned human, since her pendant belonged to the daughter of the former King, and the Bastorias Blue is capable of turning Humans into Weres(she specifically states she doesn't think it's odd to think if the Blue can turn humans into Weres, it can turn Weres into humans). It's supported by them never stating what happened to the Lion princess and the odd, disconnected cut off in Morard's memory: they rescue the princess, majority of the team gets cut down(Morard is hinted to be dying at this point), the Lion King arrives and turns Morard into a Lion, and his memory of his life 'becomes hazy' before that day. Yunifi was found on the same battlefield as Morard as a young girl, possibly young enough the effects of the Blue would give her actual amnesia, not the faked version Morard seems to have since he remembers serving Zenoira. Edit: Forgot to add, her keen sense of smell also supports her being a were turned human, and while humans living in Bastorias is a thing, her mere presence at the battlefield Morard nearly died at, and Ramona unable to find ANY trace of her parents support this to: a missing human child is gonna be noticed pretty fast, and depending on the species in the area, her scent could've been recognized as well, but her being the princess turned human gives her a perfect cover

​@@QuickSilverKitsuneThere's also more to that spoiler. Although they refer to her as human, it's clear that she's an elf. And that's because ancient Bastoria used to be dominated by elves. All Bestrals are of elven descent. The elves created the Bastoria Blue to transform them into Bestrals to gain power against Zenoira. So basically, she just transformed into her original elf form. Tldr: Bestrals are actually elves, not humans.
