Nice, but a VK67 would mean the right subdial could be a more useful 12hr timer. Adding an extra couple of cogs might even mean the chrono minutes & hours could be read from the same little clockface, like on the dual register Speedmasters.

I ordered one immediately after watching this good to know as of now they are not sold out. Yes pricey for a VK movement but shes a chunky beauty love at first site. The radium colored one is also beautiful. The odds of someone in your town, city or even country having the same watch? almost zero

For looks, I prefer the Stührling Torero 894 'Bullhead' Chrono ( VK61). Try the blue dial version, if you still van find one. Or the stunning Straton Curve Chrono (VK64)

2nd post. Sorry just realized there is no seconds hand (for regular time keeping) for this model. Seems like a huge oversight especially for a chono and with a VK movement. How does one synchronize the time if you can't see the seconds? I'm very OCD like that.

It looks like s a beefier Omega Speedmaster with Panerai Submersible-style sandwiched markers. That's not a bad thing. In fact, I think that it combines and refines the best of both types. But the case profile and crown-pusher designs are where I think this watch shines the most. Even the big brands struggle to get that form aesthetic right. That said, I don't like the brand's name or the quartz movement. That's out of preference and I believe that many watch enthusiasts would love to see a decorated mechanical movement inside, with an exhibition caseback. I wouldn't shell out anywhere near their asking price for a mecaquartz or a quartz in general.

I am a quartz snob and refuse to buy a Seiko spring drive. But somehow I have 2 VH35 watches, a Bulova 262mHZ AND a silly watch with a unique "dial" which is 100% electric and never mind it was a novelty. OK and an Undone from the early days when they were still pretty crap, tbh. The movement is solid though.

Agreed, this watch looks absolutely fantastic. I love the design. I just can’t make myself get a watch with a stupid 24h dial that I can’t independently set.

What if you live in a country where you can have endless daylight, or endless night ? Work and live underground. 24 hours subdial is useless to you, useful in some situation. 😉

The only real alternative would be an ETA 7750 movement and they cost hundreds so you're always going to pass.
