Today on Gaming Mysteries, I take a look at the beta of Kingdom Hearts 2. As a bonus, I was sick while I made this video! YAY!!!!!!!1

Square Enix actually has tabs on all of their fans lifespans and when we're all dead, THEN they'll release the game. Simultaneously Half Life 3 will be released, then Square and Gabe Newell will laugh heartily.

The ending teaser trailer actually was teasing a sequel not the sequal known as 358/2 days wich ends with the teaser where you fight rikku with dualwield as roxas

My hunch as to why King and Kentauros (Xemnas's removed final forms) were removed is that they would have to texture every one of the buildings they are made out of. I can imagine that, after Sora destroyed the World of Nothingness, Xemnas would build Kentauros out of the buildings. Then Sora (and possible Riku) would perform Reaction Commands to cut off two of its legs. Then, nothicing this, Xemnas shifts some of the buildings around to stablize the structure, then creating King. Shadow of the Colossus style, Sora would have to climb up King's arms and such to reach the large crown where Xemnas was, still clad in Xehanort's armor.

That, and I highly doubt the PS2 could render that many polygons on the screen in general. Sure, Shadow of the Colossus pulled it off, but the developers also dedicated the entire game to be optimized for that.

you want to know what the biggest surprise for me when I first played the Final Mix of Kingdom Hearts 2 fighting Roxas he turned out to be a tough cookie. since Roxas Sora and Sora is Roxas you really fighting yourself.

You, my friend, have just convayed all my thoughts on this game ENTIRELY, except for the Buzz and Woody summons- that would have been badass. Let's hope for a Toy Story world in KHIII in that regard. I think playing as a Play Arts-style Sora figure would be awesome for that world.

Chain of Memories was released in 2004, not KH2, that was 2006, 2005 for japan, and 2007 for the final mix version. So, I waited roughly 4 years for KH2 to be released in the states in 2006.

I'm totally with you. After finishing Dream Drop Distance, I've been in the mood to replay Kingdom Hearts 2, but wanted to try out Final Mix. Since the HD remix of the first is coming out soon, I can only hope they're planning on doing the same with the second eventually. Although, that would require me getting a Ps3. It'll definitely be worth it, though.

Square Enix is making Kingdom Hearts 1.5, which is an HD Kingdom Hearts collection consisting of the first KH Final Mix, RE:Chain of Memories, and a theater version of 358/2 Days for the PS3. I'm not sure if that was the question you were asking though because I forgot to mention that it will be coming out in JAPAN this March. Even though there isn't an exact statement by Square; any gaming or KH fansite will say that there is a high chance of it going international.

if you look up "KH2: Sanctuary Reverse" on youtube, you'll hear some interesting lyrics being said (the strange lyrics that are heard after the standard ones). I remember one lyric said something similar to, "I need emotions". I think those lyrics reflect Roxas as the usual ones that are heard when the song is played normally are reflecting Sora

Kingdom Hearts 3: Shards of Light was an indipendent artist's concept of what could be Kingdom Hearts 3 in the form of cover art. In simpler terms, someone drew it up for fun. It's on Deviant Art if you search for it

1.5 and 2.5 are HD rehashes of all the games leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3. 1.5 is Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and will have a HD Rehash of the cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. 2.5 is going have Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and is rumored to have Birth By Sleep or the actual Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as a playable title (which is having to be remade hence why they'd put it on the 2.5 release) but there's no actual announcements for it yet.

Hey, has anyone noticed one of the jackpots in gaming mysteries? KH3D: DDD in the beta stage (as seen in the early trailers) had the common enemies from KH2; heartless and nobodies but never appeared in the final version. And as seen in the early trailers, Xemnas and Ansem were seen as Bosses in Traverse Town but were not seen until Riku's Visit to Cite de cloches and Sora's to Pranksters paradise. AND they weren't even fought until the final world of the game. Please look into it.

Apparently they're still working on it. Idk if you know but a gameplay trailer came out for it a while back and it looked very cool(and very Kingdom Heartish). Other then that there hasn't been any useful information. I'm really hoping this game comes out as I'm very hyped for it.

I would have thought they would appear as replacement party members: Buzz using his 'laser' whilst Woody grouped enemies together with a lasso so Sora could make multiple hits. The "YOU'RE A TOY!" thing could be the finishing move, maybe.

Well I just got a 3DS for KH 3D and I don't regret it. Loved it from beginning to end. It's great to be back in both Sora AND Riku's shoes. And the disney worlds were really fun, especially the one based on Fantasia. Plus it's important if you wanna follow the story. But maybe they'll do a re-release in HD like their doing now with the older titles.

I love KH, more than any game series ever, but I must say KH:BBS is my favorite. KH2 is close, but BBS had an insane amount of gameplay, it answered so many questions, and it was just a really amazing story...
