Cat Stevens' Majikat - Earth Tour was recorded during his last legendary North American tour in 1976. It was an ambitious production involving live magicians, synchronized film projection and large innovative stage set. This was the ultimate tour of Cat Stevens before he quit the music business and became Yusuf Islam; he didn't perform on stage again for nearly thirty years.

One of the most talented artists of our time. He also seems to have a giant heart. I once heard that when he was young he became ill and it affected his voice sound. His voice is so good. I have all of his material on Vinyl and CD.

He wrote this song in 1976; he converted to Islam in 1979. I think he found his "Hard Headed Woman" in them. Which only goes to show women of the 3 primary religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) think the same way about a lot of things.

Your comment is interesting as, in my view, he wrote more commercial music during his Decca period. When he joined Island Records, at least for his first six albums, he wrote poetry with thoughtful lyrics and amazing tunes.
