I saw him at the Forum in Los Angeles during this very tour, including one night sitting in the front row just a few feet away. To say it was a magical night would be an understatement. I was (and am) a massive fan. It was an extraordinary experience that I have never forgotten. My friend and I had the chance to get front row seats. It seemed so sketchy, having to pick them up from some unknown guy in an industrial park. We thought it likely we would die. But for Cat it just seemed worth it. It turned out fine. The guy was a straight shooter who simply couldn't go. We paid $50 each for front row. That certainly tells you it was a different time. And even though we were poor high school kids, I consider it some of the best money ever spent. I'm so glad this great singer is still around bringing joy.

That's surprising, given the west is pushing towards the unthinkable. I remember hearing about Lester Pearson. I think he was CDN PM before P.E. Trudeau. He half-jokingly suggested Canadians paint arrows on the roofs of our homes, but given the destructive potential these days, what's the point of anything except peace thru negotiations, yielding self-determination between all nations, much like we people generally do between each other. Remember "live & let live"? Don't we varied peoples all live by that?

That was no small feat for a die hard Introvert. Like you, God gave me pleasant physical features. Youssef islam. C'est l'un des artistes qu'a pu établir un équilibre entre sa célébrité et sa performance dans le monde musical. Sans avoir beaucoup de pression et je pense grâce à la religion qui donne un sens a notre vie.

Miss this music. This SPIRIT. He didn't change that much, society did.. My son really liked his music( we got to share that) we would listen when things got difficulty. If I could, I'd thank him( Yosef C. Stevens) from the young man who fought a cancerous brain tumor. Oddly when I was pregnant with him I'd sing the Boy with the Moon and Stars. Everyone thinks their kid is special, as it should be. All his life people would tell me how special he was. Mahatma Lee.

I was in elementary school when this song came out. It only took me one time to hear it, to know how deeply important and special it was. I love this song and this artist so much. Being black, kids did not get my gratitude and love for Cat Stevens but my Daddy was a music lover and he opened the door for us to embrace all genres of music and talented artists such as Buddy Holly, Dolly Parton, B. B. King, The Temptations, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Cat Stevens, The Bee Gees, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, The Doors and so many other artists. It also helped that my father was in the music business during the 70's. Awesome music was a huge part of my upbringing into adulthood.
