The year was 1979 and I was sitting in the pew of a Catholic Church ..the responsorial hymn was Morning Has Broken.I thought I had died and went to heaven to know we were all singing a Cat Steven's song

It's not a Cat Steven's song, it's an old Christian Hymn. And he's not Christian. His beliefs are anthietical to Christianity.

@@timdodenhoff7942 yes , cat Stevens didn't write the lyrics but at that time Stevens was a very spiritual man searching.. at that time 1970 he had not committed to Islam. So you can not say he was opposed to Christianity..he was originally a Catholic
