Every inspired musician knows this man - both then and now - as a painter of man. He shares the stage with Rembrandt, Shakespeare, and Handel. His theology may be . . . different, but his understanding of the human condition is spot on. And I love him for that. The Poser in Chief would do well to heed the last line of this famous ode to man.

Yusuf Islam seems like a good man, certainly spreading a good message not much unlike the legendary Bob Marley. I wouldn't say its not hard but its certainly easier for a man in his position to do some good. I mean he has a fan base, thousands of people, maybe even millions in the palm of his hand. Its the little guy who is doing good every day that really needs recognition in my opinion, it is hard to help others while you don't have anything yourself. Anyway BIG CREDS to all good doers. One of my favorites. Very glad that he's back. I do have to say that the things he did as Yusuf Islam are also good. He had two really interesting albums, "The Life of the Prophet" and "The Prayers of the Prophet." (I think).
