The interior looks much more polished than their demo bus I tried earlier this year, it looks like they have put stop bells towards the rear of the lower deck (there are none on the demo), but the last two rows on the lower deck still look a bit cramped and the step on the upper deck also seems to be moved forward to increase the headroom below. However the overall layout is still less ideal compared to newer EVs like the non-BYD E400EV and Streetdeck Electroliner which have no compromise on interior layout compared to their diesel versions.

Yes, I agree. There's definitely room for improvement on the lower deck; it felt a bit cramped. This seems to align with the feedback operators were sharing at the show.
