I am not sure if people are aware but the Visa holders bring their extended families with them. This includes Grandparents, I know this because I see these people daily. The U.K. somehow managed to employ more Indians and Nigerians than British workers in 2023. Can anyone imagine just how many people this is. Watching a barely literate Indian with 9 children and 2 elderly ’dependents’ arriving on a minimum wage NHS care worker Visa makes me grit my teeth knowing my taxes are paying for the education and medical treatment of a dozen people. Then the next family arrive.

If all the million people flew into a single airport on 737-400s, that would mean a full aircraft would land every 90 mins, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year… Yep, that certainly sounds sustainable to me…
