I’m going through the same thing with my college roommate rn! We’re in a shared dorm rn, but we’re gonna get neighboring singles in the designated singles building. Even though we’re around each other all the time, and talk all the time, we don’t actually do stuff together anymore. Now we’ll actually have motivation to hang out and do something together, since we won’t be constantly around each other!

I will support Yvonne in anything she does. Do I wish she stayed? Yes, just so she’d appear more often in the Roomies streams but that’s because I so enjoy hanging out with her. She speaks of personal growth and that’s really cool that she’s introspective enough to see who she is becoming and wanting to reach for other ways to be. My hope is that this process is like a staircase and that at every step or two she takes time to appreciate who she is at that step because she is pretty freaking amazing right now. She’s been through a lot and she has been there supporting everyone she’s lived with to the best of her abilities for all that time. She is someone who is treasured within the community and has made friends that will not just last a lifetime but together with her would build an incredible life. Whenever she needs them they are waiting for her and are up for anything.
