We have winter garlic. It is extremely difficult to preserve it until the next harvest. But we have three great ways!
1. Garlic paste:
garlic
rosemary (optional)
salt
vegetable oil (for baking in the oven)
*** baking temperature 180 degrees, 20-30 minutes
peel the garlic from the skin (when cool)
salt to taste
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice to taste) -
100 ml vegetable oil
*** Grind with a blender. Store in clean, dry jars in the refrigerator.
2. Garlic salt:
1 kg of pure salt, without impurities or additives
200 grams of garlic
*** Store in dry, clean jars in the refrigerator.
3. Dry garlic (ground):
peeled garlic, pulse dried in the microwave
*** power 850 W 5 minutes - stir + 2 minutes + 2 minutes + 2 minutes.
Grind in a coffee grinder. Store on shelves in dry, clean jars.
This, friends, is how you can extend the life of garlic. And you can use such preparations as you wish - in soups, side dishes, scrambled eggs, porridge, lard, meat, etc.
