Paint the inside of the housing with a high temp white paint. It does much better than the foil reflector

Great idea, I did similar myself with a smaller Harbour Freight work light. One thing to note and be careful of is to make sure that you actually get a "50W COB LED" when ordering from the cheap Chinese suppliers. I ordered some "50W" ones and received exactly what you're using in this video. However, it turned out that they were actually the 20W versions (many of these eBay suppliers offer, 20W, 30W & 50W on the same listing). I actually measured the power draw of my "50W" devices (with a "Kill a Watt" meter) and they definitely consumed 20W. You can also tell the 50W ones from the 20W and 30W versions by the number of small black 8-pin chips populated on the board (four lined up opposite the power wires and one between them). These are the MX2082 LED drivers. The 50W version has ALL FIVE possible chip locations populated. The 20W and 30W versions only have TWO or THREE installed. Your device in this video (and mine) clearly has only two installed and is almost certainly a 20W device. Basically, just beware on eBay (and perhaps message any seller letting them know what you're expecting to receive). When I contacted my eBay seller, all I got was a "Whoops, our bad!", and a partial refund. I suspect this is a common trick with these suppliers. After all, most folk wouldn't or couldn't check the power draw.

Paul, My led looks exactly like the one in the video yet labeled 50w. Are u saying that it perhaps isn't actually a 50w?

great tutorial, what was the led you used? was it 240 volt cob? ,

One thing that would make it brighter with only using one of those bulbs. Is to have kept the reflector intact and to bring the led off of the back wall. Those ledges are causing the light to not reflect properly. One way of doing this is to use a heat sink from a computer in between the led and the housing. I'm not trying to say that you didn't do a good job or anything like that. Because you did do a great job. I'm only trying to suggest an improvement in the original design.
