I thought then and I still think now that this was a GREAT band with GREAT orchestrations and vocals. Just balls out, pump your fist and sing loud and proud rock n' roll. I would LOVE to see this incarnation happen again.. Awesome stuff.

This is one of those situations where you give your brother a job because you feel like you have to take care of him. Dweezil's such a giving person.

G Diddy look how Ahmet repaid his brother helping him ,now Dweezil can't even call his band Zappa plays Zappa and is blocked by the zappa trust their mother went against Frank's death bed wishes ,threw away his will and gave control of everything to the 2 children that are failures and can't make money on their own .

Ahmet has great stage presence, amazing moves, and actually a pretty good singer. However, I am not a fan of what he has done to Dweezil. Ahmet is a screenwriter, he has written movies like The Odd Life of Timothy Green. So he is not a complete failure, he is just disappointing to all of Frank's fans

Now that we know Frank wrote a serious heavy metal song for Dweezils band Z that's on Dweezils new album it pisses me off they didn't play it back when heavy metal was king ,it would have made the charts . I can't remember the name of the song Frank wrote about Satan but it's on the Via Zamata album Dweezil released last year and I like it .

Saw Dweezil's band i think a little before this performance in Orangevale CA. Don't think Keneally was in the band. It was more packed with energy and tighter than seemed humanly possible. Possibly the most brain busting display of rock guitar that venue had been subjected to. It went on for more than two hours and some people who really dug the show were exhausted and left, unfortunately for them, they missed Purple Guitar and a bunch of other @#$&(*** !! amazing poop.

Z never played Ireland back then (the situation up north and the stupid stupid thing with shannon airport in Limerick probably not helping) but Dweezil's been here a bunch of times with ZPZ and his other show last year. if this is in fact the lingerie show, yes, frank and moon, along with a caregiver, massaging and comforting frank, were at this show. how do i know? i am older than the youngsters and went directly to the balcony to watch without having to stand thru their marathon shows. fz and crew were brought in just as things got going and a small couch, for comfort, was put in in place of the bar stools. frank beamed watching his kids. i believe this was joe travers first gig with fz. amaze-balls show, of course. frank looked visibly beat and left prior to the end of the show. warren cucurullo stopped to say hello to frank briefly. wonderful memories.

It was at Club Lingerie, Hollywood. I was there sitting in the roped off section reserved for the Zappa’s. I sat, actually stood next to Frank, his wife Gail was there, so was Moon Unit, (I locked eyes with her and fell in love, and the younger daughter, Diva Muffin. Ahmet was onstage singing lead. Great band, Dweezil, Scott Thunes on Bass and Mike Keanaly, that guy is sooooo great. Great show!
