You can change the position of the main bolt on the left hand side. Or you could get after market lower footpeg. Yes I have been having the same problems on my 2021. This has the added issue of having the quick shift system on it.

Thanks Paul, when you say you can change the position of the bolt. You mean there is another adjustment there or you have to customise it?

Ah I just saw the other bolt you were talking about, you loosen that and rotate the unit and then tighten it up again. Wasn't until I rewatched my video to be able to see that. Hope that's the same on all kawasaki's as my wifes 650 is at the max adjustment and still it's not enough.

I really like the sx. I'm 6'1" and I have or rather wear a size 13 shoe. Not sure what I need to do. Downshifting isn't the problem. It's the up shifts.

ok what I've shown in this particular video is the simple slight adjustment as Paul Corre mentions in this video comments, you can also make bigger adjustments by undoing the bolt that holds the entire lever assembly. You can see this at 02:48 in the video. on the left and slightly above where the spanner is.

nice informative video pinn! ive always opted for the IMS shifters, (aftermarket for offroad dirtbikes) it actually gets rid of the linkage bar there so it gets rid of the play you feel when up shifting and its further out so your not having to squeeze your foot between it and the foot peg. check amazon might be worth if there is one compatible.

Thanks mate, I'll have to look into that. Although with the latest adjustment I did a 2.5 hour round trip in Saturday in full leathers and didn't feel awkward once so it's good for now. But saying that I will have a look at the IMS as it sounds like a good upgrade :)

picked mine up Saturday and missed shifts regularly with 40 plus years riding. I am 6'2" and 250 lbs with size 13 boot. Boots are a no go for me sneakers it is

Yeah boots are a bit on the bulky side aren't they. There are a fair few less bulky biker ankle boots available now which offer similar protection. I've been looking at those for the A to B rides rather than the days out.

No these are locked in place. I'm sure there may be come adapter kit on the market but I haven't come across any yet.

Hi that's an MT Targo Doppler. It's a low budget helmet. I think it cost about £90 when I bought it. I've since upgraded to a Scorpion Exo 1400 Liquid Carbon which I think can be seen in one of my later videos.
