I've got this same bike, couldn't ask for a better bike especially for a learner who wants to keep their bike even after they've become experienced. Couldn't ask for a better naked sport bike in this class.

My wife own this crazy little funmachine. Exactly in this great colour. I'm riding GSX1400 and B-King but love it too. Such an easy maneuverable and lightweigt baby!

The Kawasaki "Z" series bikes are fun. I enjoyed the light and nimble Z400 because it wasn't heavy and it seemed to fit my body type very well.

Thanks for the review! How did you like the z400 in comparison to the Ninja 400?
@Trekopolis Жыл бұрын
@@sissydreams7494 I also think the Ninja has more of a lower leaning position.

I've got the 2023 white version of this bike too and I love it, I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's a perfect beginner bike and it's got enough power to teach you how to handle horsepower and the throttle and brakes and still retain the fun after you've become more experienced. I plan to keep mine even after I get another bike in the next few months.

@@1000yeardragon I've always liked the white color. Nice! I'd love to own one myself, or something similar. One day... :)

@Trekopolis you can probably get a good deal on a Z400 now that the Z500 is out and honestly you can't tell much difference if any except a couple aesthetic changes like the turn signals and the dash display. But yeah if you're looking for a fun bike I couldn't recommend any better one.

Leaning forward a little might seem like it would make your arms tired on a longer ride, but once you’re going 55+ mph the air holds you up. I rode a ninja from Florida to Virginia and it never crossed my mind that I was holding myself up. The air did most of the work.

I learn a lot from everyone! Excellent point, thank you. Makes sense. Now I definitely want a sport bike one day. 🤔😉😎

Hey, what's up man! Yeah, I also rode the Ninja 400, which the video will be released soon. This bike and the Ninja were similar, but the Ninja had more of a sportbike lean to it. I liked that Ninja too! Those Demo Days are awesome for sure. I'm going to the BMW event again this weekend. ;)

Sat on one yesterday... thought I was a diehard cruiser guy... this changed my whole viewpoint. Do you think it is beginner friendly?
@Trekopolis Жыл бұрын
I'd say it's fine for a beginner. It's not a huge CC so it won't get anyone in trouble as easy as a larger displacement motor. It's quick, but it's not like a 1,000cc either and it's light weight and easy to ride and turn.

I bought this bike two months ago as my first bike and it has been perfect for me. Not intimidating at all, and so much fun. Great in town or on the highway-though you definitely feel the wind at interstate speeds. An aftermarket windshield helps mitigate that. As a beginner myself, I can say it is a phenomenal first bike.

At 60mph for a rider that weighs less then 140lbs this bike can throw you off the seat and flying into the air if you hit a bump in the road, I think it has to do with the short wheel base.😅

Don't have to worry about that. One leg weights that! 🤪 Thanks for the head's up!

How would you compare the experience of this to the scooter? I have a Yamaha S max 155 I’m looking to get a 4 to 500 cc bike.
@Trekopolis Жыл бұрын
Just the pure power response and agility I'd say is what stood out. Sport bikes are a blast to ride, but in a different way. More of an adrenaline rush, but not so much power to intimidate someone not used to sport bikes. I'm still thinking about the Ninja line. Once you ride one it's hard to not want to experience it again.

is there any upgrade or change on the new 2023 Z400 compared to its first launch (which was i guess 2019)? 1 thing i know is the Euro5 engine, anything else aside from that? also, does Z400 ang Ninja400 have the same features and tech? or Ninja has better feats and tech?
@Trekopolis Жыл бұрын
I feel the Ninja had a more sport bike feel to it and the clutch was super smooth. Just a lot easier to ride even with the handling. I don't know enough about the Ninja line to answer all your questions, however. I'd recommend researching the specs online for the years in question. Good luck! ✌🏼

Body type is key with any bike. My belly gets in the way on crotch rockets. 🤔
