David Van Horn - Excellent point! I’ve been thinking about how SNL is an awesome opportunity for actors to show how good they are (or how bad, depending on the actor). James Franco saved this boring sketch all by himself, and I’m sure directors notice this. Daniel Craig is a good example of an actor who is just OK, but he works hard and does his best. He was “OK” in his SNL skits, but he sure put effort into them! Being James Bond doesn’t require a naturally great actor, but it DOES require hard work, and Daniel Craig was perfect for that role.
