Not only geisha, but camellia oil is often used by Japanese people. It is very good for hair and skin. Camellia oil is loved by men and women of all ages. As a Japanese, I think so.

Camellia oil is great! I lived in Japan and saw this oil sold for a lot less than Tatcha. It really works...truly is a miracle worker on lines and wrinkles.

Sephora used to carry the Boscia brand and they had a Tsubaki oil which is the name for Camillia Oil. I loved the stuff but once they stopped selling it, I kinda forgot about it. I’m going back to repurchase it if I can find it. Edited to say it looks to be discontinued. I cant find it anywhere and it was great. Also the Boscia cooling cleansing oil is phenomenal! I always liked it better than any balm or removing oil. It was so underhyped.

There's a nice brand of it on Amazon called Oshima Tsubaki Camellia oil. It's around $20 so not a bad price. Pretty packaging too.

Camellias can originate from Asia but their bushes/trees are commonly seen thoughout Europe in public or private gardens 😁 my mom has a couple of big camellia trees in her front garden 😊 Thanks for this video, never knew that Tsubaki oil was made of camellia seeds 😍

A company called Piping Rock sells Camellia seed oil. It's listed as Camellia oil but in the description it says it is pure Camellia seed oil. 2 ounces for under $10. For shipping they only charge the USPS rate for the order.

Can hardly wait to try this. Have mature, dry, sun damaged some precancerous areas recently removed. Was looking for a moisturizer that would protect me from the sun and not irritate my eyes. I have a complection simular to yours. Wear a conceler under my eyes, have always used powder blush then even it all out with power. Want to try cream blush since my skins so dry and my brows are half gray so need something that stays in place to define them. Thankyou for your help will have to try some of these products.

Thank you for sharing this. I am definitely going to try this! I just found a Korean skincare on Amazon that I am loving. The exfoliating toner uses plums and is gentle for sensitive skin. I have a dry flaky T zone and this works properly better than the 60. 00 bottle at a fraction of the price.

This is so interesting! Question.. did u find mixing it w’ ur foundation made ur skin more oily or did it change at all? I’m an oily mess 😅
@Vonmacfire
@Vonmacfire Жыл бұрын
She says it’s a dry oil which typically makes it less greasy feeling on the skin. Mixing it with a foundation or any oil you need just a drop or 2, mix it with the foundation in your hand for a few seconds to warm it up and mix it. This typically sheers the foundation and makes it easier to apply. I personally love using this method and have used it for years.
