Thanks for the acetone tip. I’ll try it the next time I want to dye my skates. We’ve used Rit dye for years to do custom rollerblades but I don’t know of anyone that added that in the mix

Question, I’ve seen some Milwaukee shells like this, but they also “dyed” the Milwaukee lettering white like the original but of course with the shell black. How was this achieved? Was it a post dye paint job? Or was this also dying but in a different way? I want to do the same but the only thing I’m hung up on is the lettering. Because even if I can paint the lettering white, it will not hold up like the rest of the shell that’s dyed black

@@leerob342 my dewalt impact driver has a sticker at the bottom that is designed to rip once you open the thing all the way. some other warranty protection methods they use are screws with a sticker of some sort over it so in order to access the screw you need to rip through the sticker. if they see this evidence of tampering warranty’s voided
