I just look back at all the drafts Kings passed on future all stars this could be a draft where the best player in the draft falls to their pick

Exactly. You end up giving up three players and a lottery draft pick that will very possibly be better than the player you are getting now. Look back on this draft 5 years from now and I bet there is an all star or very solid player 13 and above. Just draft well and you don’t end up way over paying for someone you could have had in the first place for free. That’s the best hope for a franchise like Sacramento for long-term health.

here are so many 6 foot guards in the draft, G league and free agents. Don't waste the pick on a 6 foot guard. Take a gamble, grab a big three or four. Walters, Missi, Filipowski, or Silva. Nikola Djurisic is a sleeper ( one of best in combine) should be available in late first and early second. KUZMA best guy on bad team "no D" big contract.

I’m not feeling great about trading the pick this year…. But i get it. I just can’t help but think if we trade this pick, and Davion, having recently traded Haliburton, and using a pick last year to get off of Holmes…. You’ve traded 4/5 draft picks, and you still owe one to Atlanta…

Edey seems good but a project with no immediate impact, no minutes for him. But if Kings lose Monk drafting John McCain at 13 if he's there would be a smart move imo can't beat a rookie contract. Also I like a cheap signing like sediq bey to get another wing.

24:55 I went talked to them about the Sacramento Kings missing the playoffs and how they couldn't hit their free throws. So took the opinion of guy who hated him all year long and not what actual scouts and team thoughts or watched or draft combine. Who faster than any big man his size has ever been and he always told everyone he could shoot just purdue never wanted him to do that because he can destroy anyone in college or NBA down low but he can shoot 2 and 3 balls. He also is decent athletic for his size and he has 7'11 wingspan he can play drop because with his hands guys still don't make a lot of shot because they literally CAN'T SEE THE RIM LOL Also he played Chet in a under 19 FIBA tournament Canada vs USA and Edey did so much better in that game. Also Victor Wembenya was in that tournament he had most of every stat at the end of the tournament and was rated the best big man in the tournament!

I keep coming back to Cody Williams. His brother Jalen is good for the Thunder and Cody is bigger and more skilled than Jalen was at his age. He is good offensively and defensively with height and length. Seems like a sure fire wing prospect to me.

Monte will blow it, he's an average GM which I will take over our past GMs , but still nothing great. I don't care if he got the award the previous season, that trade is still being debated. He sucked in the last draft and did nothing in last year's off season or at the break. Maybe he'll get lucky and walk ass backwards into something.. fingers crossed.

They need Edey.....Sabonis wingspan is not great and he has looked mediocre in the low post during the playoffs when refs let guys get more physical and he isn't able to get the foul calls....Edey is a big body who will only get better and has a crazy wing span who will get the tough point inside the paint that the Kings lack.

@@martinwilson8362 Athletic 3d can be found in any draft....a 7'4'' guy with a 7'11'' wingspan doesn't come around too often....Domas and his T-Rex arm span got dominated by long armed Looney last year and didn't do enough again to win against the Pelicans.

You do not give up lottery picks now. You give up future picks for Kuzma, especially if you lose Monk and a couple more players to get him. Silva, Ware, and Edey are my top 3 so far. Salaun might be great, but he is definitely a project player. It will take him a few years to contribute . I'd also be okay with them dropping back to early 20s.

small ball doesn't work in the playoffs....there is only one Steph Curry and he is looking washed lately plus the Kings don't have that type of deadly consistent shooter...... Kings need points in the paint and low post enforcer in the playoffs.

You know LeBron isn't going to lower his salary if he'd come to Sacramento. He still gets $40+ mill a year. Kings can't even offer Monk over $22-23/ mill a year. And Orlando and Detroit if the rumors are real can pay $24+ mill a year for a Monk. Bad take . Anyways bronny is looking like if he is in the draft he's not even really going and will be a g-leaguer. Not my opinion..it's the experts with their "big boards".
