Daron homes II, he will fit. Trading the pick puts us without draft picks for years and picking up someone like Kuzma (good guy on grapy team) with a max contract.

Also, the reason it came down so fast from 24th to 14th was it was as high as 3rd best for last 1/3rd of regular season!

i've said it before M/G is not a true journalist, he's just a glorified sports fan: an addicted kings fan. look at the size of his head? living in a ghostown like Sacramento will get you a bigger head like that. I mean that town sucks..no nightlife, no beach life...no social life...just one sucky team like the queens or kangz..nothing to do in sucktown. they only have nasty rivers to cool off on summer time....the place is full of stuck up people and jobs opportunity there..they give it to the rednks or clanz. i mean look at the history.

Good episode Matt, I'd like them to go with a bigger wing like De Silva if they keep it, maybe go for McCain, or Dillingham if they feel Monk will leave. I like Da'Ron Holmes quite a bit, athletic enough for forward to play in lineups with Domas, but big enough to play backup C. Edey & Ware could be good big guys, but do we want to use a lotto pick for a guy to backup Sabonis for 12 minutes each game? Some other guys who would be good are Knecht, Holland, Salaun & Topic but don't think they'll fall past 12, we'll see. Topic is a point but could easily play shooting guard beside Fox, and then slide Keon over to SF.

Edey is the most intriguing for me. The Sabonis and Turner duo wasn't the reason why they failed in Indiana. He is very experienced, so he could come in and start if no move for Kuzma is made.

We keep talking about the Kings need to take a risk. I feel like he is a lower risk than some potential trade ideas because he won't handicap the Kings future, and he could pay off if it works. That guy is Edey. A lot of people keep saying Sabonis is undersized, and he played well with Turner. Edey is the most intriguing guy in the draft because we see the skill and dominance. The question is, would it work? I'd be curious to see it.

Trade the pick for a latter pick and a future pick. Then see what’s available at the pick you have and see what other deals can be made.

The kings are obviously in win now mode. A 13th pick is not usually bringing in a first day starter or even a rotation player. Just look at the kings ... Mitchell, the more recent 2nd round picks etc... didn't really hit the starting rotation. Mitchell did only when huerter and or monk is out.. but even then it was duarte then keon at first. So trade it away and package that for a "potential elite" or first day starter. Kuzma for his salary friendly... Lavine for his scoring explosivness , there are other players like markkenen but i think the jazz will keep him along with Kessler after seeing Minnesota run with to large big men. But it's quite obvious if the kings run it back or even keeps monk..they are far short on talent after Fox, sabonis, Murray, Lyles , Len, Mitchell,ellis and maybe Colby...but he's close but still not a real backup yet or anything that could compare to Mitchell. This draft is "weak" just means there's not obviously looking potential all star players. Lebron's son is a g-leaguer level but he'll see if he can get in higher .. but not worth the earlier pick.
