Are you doing the vet feast this year! We did the vet feast in NC a few years ago prior to a race! The pit was used in the morning to bring in food mostly donations from veteran families and local bakers they had free advertising that night and radio station tell all the supporting supplies! As a vet you had to show I'D OR DD214! BRING YOUR FAMILY! WE serve until the last dish is done! We ask the local community to bring there prize dishes .... we have a taste test for the best and give out ribbons! We ask for a prayer before serving! Pepsi donate drinks Bring ya own bottle if permitted! ..... it was so humbling to be apart of that meal and meet so many hero!

I beg to differ about Dodge Rams have more power than Fords. My brother owns a 2014 Dodge Ram 6 cylinder with 4wd, and I owned a 2000 Ford explorer 6 cylinder with a 4wd 4.0 with a twisted frame and we were facing back to back with our 4wd on and my Ford pulled him over my mom's 7 acres without a problem! I hear ya about the A/C. When we stay at a hotel, I’m right there with you. It goes to the lowest it will go. I have one of those husbands who won’t let me turn down the a/c lower than 74. We live in Houston and summers are hotter than hell! I need it down to so cold your shivering!

Please don't lump all Houston to bad crawfish. There are (as certainly everywhere) people that do it right. Just like I always thought I hated brussel sprouts, I just didn't like boiled sprouts in hot water sauce. Seasoned and broiled or roasted, soooo much better!
