We’re back with an exciting new season. This is Raising Heights with Zach and Tori Roloff. As spring comes to a close and summer is just around the corner, we’ve been busy with home renovations and making plans for the coming season.
From new tile to a more accessible bathroom setup for the kids, we’ve been battling sickness and burst pipes while also celebrating birthdays and Tori having a great time on the dance floor after the Bronco’s graduation. I agree with Zach about the parent having to b the calm one when the kids fall etc. My mom would do this thing when we were little & fell...she'd ask us where we fell & then would say, I'm going outside & spanking that cement/sidewalk & would say, bad sidewalk & my brother & I would crack r ass off & stop crying. I'm a grown adult now & still remember that & very much appreciate it till today. Also, I've noticed bcuz my mom did that I'm the person u want to call in an emergency bcuz I'm so calm. Zach is right that the kids feed off our energy.🤷‍♀️

I missed y'all, so glad you are back!! I wanted to say that it really does take a village especially in the time of need, and there's something so special and beautiful to witness it and when it is happening to you, you have a profound sense of gratitude and love for those who stepped up for you. It's not always easy to accept help but when you need it, it's okay to accept it as it's their gift to you. I have always been the giver and caregiver, (I was a home health care provider for the elderly and disabled), so when I had my life altering accident 1 year after my husband died and our daughter was just 13 years old, I received a ton of help from my village of family friends coworkers neighbors and people I didn't know. I cried so much, tears of gratitude and so much more. My village helped me and my daughter, I never ever could have made it without them ❤️. Sorry for being long-winded, your story sparked a precious 18 yrs old memory and I wanted to share it with you Tori, Zach, and everyone else who reads this. My village is still going strong ❤❤❤

DC is our favorite trip! My husband and I took a luxury trip 8 years ago and last year we took our 2 oldest girls 18 & 12 and they LOVED it. The eggs benedict at The Jefferson Hotel are amazing! If you request ahead of time thru your local congressman you can get special tours like the white house, library of congress (amazing!), the capital. Do that now though! ❤
