Met him in Dallas a week ago. Didn’t know about his struggles before watching this video today. When I expressed gratitude for his show Chuck and how it helped me understand that even though I was raised by a perfectionist to be a perfectionist, which led to over 100 scars over my entire body(several nicked veins and at least one tendon), that it was ok to not be perfect, and I could just be me, he gave me a short motivational speech. He is the nicest human being I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with, that wasn’t blood related to me that is. I wish him well and will always be grateful. It’s nice to stop hating yourself(still working on that, but it’s nice to hate myself less than I did yesterday)

I am at a loss for words. I don’t even know where to start. Every word Zach speaks resonates with my life story. It’s like listening to a male version of me. If I were in his company, we could, no doubt, talk for DAYS. Guinness Book of World Records wouldn’t hold a candle to the conversation I would eagerly LOVE to have with this wise old soul. My head is saying so many thoughts right now that I can’t even begin to sort out their relevance. I have always wished to find just one person who could understand me, feel what I feel. I too, am a very deep thinker and feeler, to the point it’s too heavy for most to comprehend, if you could believe that. I also dislike Social Media for the most part but it did help me discover Zachary and this platform and for that I am truly grateful!❤️🥰❤️🙂

After having viewed this session three times (once in the background, then watching and taking notes and then a final time just listening), I have three words. This saved me. Experiencing the current world situation has brought me to a place where I never thought I would be. I wouldn’t say it’s a deep dark place, but it’s a place that has made me more self-aware and observant to my true inner feelings. The thought provoking and overwhelming amount of candor and transparency expressed in this session brought gratitude into my heart. I’m definitely one not to show my heart on my sleeve right from the start. It takes large amounts of built up frustrations and trust for any one person to see it. This allowed me to see the inner me. It’s no coincidence that this presented itself to me when it did. As the month of May is Mental Health Awareness month, this was perfectly timed to come into my life. Now a year later, I would be interested in seeing and hearing a follow-up with this discussion especially during the current global event. I wonder if Mr. Levi would consider starting a foundation to bring more awareness to this topic or continue this journey with a podcast of his own. I was brought to tears of hope and appreciation when I heard the below learning’s from this session. “To learn, to grow to thrive, to choose to educate, enlighten and enliven yourself” “Be a conduit of love, of life, of light” “Find value, find purpose” “Self-awareness is the heart of self love; to know yourself, to love yourself; knowledge makes love deeper” “Be brave enough, vulnerable enough with your journey and our testimony” “Right here, right now, be present” There is purpose for me in this world” These simple words of wisdom have now brought new meaning to my life. For that I will forever be eternally grateful.

This is an incredibly beautiful interview featuring Zachary Levi. 🌹 I totally, totally love his advice on self-love in a positive way, I mean. I love Zach not by his handsomely good looks but his truthfulness, humor, kindhearted and down-to-earth personality. I can relate to Zach even more because his late abusive mother is similar to my mother (even my father entirely). He and I don’t deserve that kind of abuse. He and I found our talents in Arts from God. I think he’s trying to say that God wants us let go of negative forces in our lives, like blame, shame, and anger. We place the space with positive influences, such as ownership, creation, and power. I agree with Zach’s words about loving yourself in a spiritual manner and YOU ALL have to love yourselves under God’s design and be thankful for that 🙏😇😉. I’m very grateful and happy that Zach’s company, Nerd Machine, gave me 2 likes ❤️❤️ from my drawings of him on Instagram. Thank you for having him on. This is really helpful, knowing that someone this important also grew from parental abuse. Also, I appreciated knowing that it is okay to stumble around in search of finding the value in ourselves.

Wowowowowow!!😳 I had so many head nods throughout this 📹 and am so glad I was able to watch all the way through. Zachary might truly change how many think, wonder and most importantly think. I will not say it is only him, but he is able to bring it on a platform for many to see! Jay Shetty is the BEST!!! I have just recently discovered and am so mad for not finding you our earlier. The most important part that stuck out was, of course, being face-to-face with yourself. Loving yourself is by far the hardest because we have all learned how to love by others. What that love is varies, alot! I have started my journey of self love in 2015 where I didn't allow a man to determine my steps and what I do with my body. From then I realized that all of my deep scars stemmed from how I was brought up. The men I was with were just the tip of the iceberg. Underneath I have found what you go through with your family from literally birth makes you or shall we say breaks you. I decided to delve deep and have even went as far as cutting off many members without explanation. I hope to mend that bond, but am not in a rush, as I had just met someone(MYSELF) and am truly feeling her! I didn't seek professional help but have been deeper in activities in church and not just doing to a Sunday service. I have allowed myself to run free in my mind and truly figure out who I was with a huge assistance from God. Many revelations were revealed to me and I can't say that I have done this on my own. Thank you again Jay for bringing this magnificent man into your podcast!
