Zach, I had to comment and thank you, thank you so much for standing up for the Book of Enoch. It is the book that brought me to Torah, and is the most feared and disregarded book that people NEED to read. I believe it is the extra oil needed for the time of the Great Deception and Apostasy. May we stand before Him unashamed! Amen!

I totally enjoyed your teaching on Torah I've always believed that there was more to serving the Father than what I've been taught through the church. to the point that it haunted me. in my heart I always knew in order to live the way Jesus did we had to do it as he did. your teachings have opened a wider area for me concerning the truth of what the Father wants for us so we have a truly blessed life. I am beginning to read more of my bible now starting from the beginning as the Father started in the beginning. I just want to thank you an the Father for your teaching it's good to my soul every video I listen to. I'm searching for truth an your videos has opened my eyes that truth is only found in God's word an nowhere else. once again thank you Zac keep up the good work the Father has truly blessed you with knowledge an wisdom.

Zack, Achsah here from South Africa. Wow I have such a powerful testimony about The Scriptures Bible and how I met Bill Meyer of the Institute of Scripture Research. We stay literally 10 km from each other. What a humble man with such a beautiful family. He helped Dr De Kock to stranslate the Hebrew and publish The Scriptures. So now you know it comes from South Africa. Shalom.

The reason why the catholics left the extra books in the bible is because they don't ever teach there people to read there bible. Most catholics just allow the local priest to read a selected passages. I used to be a catholic for 20+ years as a catholic just fyi

Not sure how an exCatholic can say that the Bible is discouraged. My experience is TOTALLY different. AND the "extra" books are not extra, they have always been there. They were part of the Septuagint.... the Bible at the time of Jesus.

Thank you for this channel ! I've grown up in deep in the southern bible belt with a very very Christian mother who raised me the best she could and I was always in church .I am glad she did. That said I ,being above average intelligence , had a lot of questions that the people I knew could not answer . I was lost and left church as a young man I came back as I had children got back in and then the new church that was just beginning went from stepping on my toes to tickling my ears to full on prosperity. when I finally read the verse about "traditions of man " I knew I was right to question and search I have been trying to get back to hebrew roots and left the church . If I was not 40 years old ( stubborn) , being the youngest of 8 children all christian , I could not survive the heat of stepping out. You sir have helped confirm alot of the logic I have used .. which to them is somehow the opposite of faith .. Thank you I am also doing my best to enlighten my at risk youth group for those that voluntarily come to my study class

All the verses supposedly missing from the NIV are not actually missing at all. They are merely moved to the footnotes with a note on which manuscript(s) they are found in or missing from. To me, that makes the NIV more complete and informative than the versions that do not include info on which manuscripts include or omit certain verses or phrases.

The book of jubilees confirms that a day begins in sunset. A day is from sunset to sunset. Night first, then morning. Jubilees 49:1 [1]Remember the commandment which the Lord commanded thee concerning the passover, that thou shouldst celebrate it in its season on the fourteenth of the first month, that thou shouldst kill it before it is evening, and that they should eat it by night on the evening of the fifteenth from the time of the setting of the sun. In jubilees, it says there that 2/3 portion of a day is given to the light, and 1/3 of a day is given to the evening. This means that from 3pm to 6pm is also called evening, because this period of time are given to evening. It is the 1/3 portion of a day that is given to evening and is considered/called also evening. This is when our Messiah died, at exactly 3pm. Fulfilling the passover sacrifice at its appointed time.

Shalom brother Zachary, great information that most mainstream conservative protestantism will consider your teachings to be "Hebrew root movement" based, how ever your ministry as well as mine is more similar to the early church than over 60-90 % of Christianity. I also recommend a strong exhaustive concordance to break down Hebrew/ Greek words that were there before the translation.

I did weeks of research on the Book of Enoch, but before I get into that, I so enjoy your ministry and the knowledge you bring forth. I find the videos of other church pastors and their spouses and what all they went through coming out of the false doctrine refreshing and it hits home with me and my husband. On saying that I believe the book of Jude quotes Enoch but possibly not the book. If the seventh from Adam indeed wrote this book it would have been before the flood and there are verses in the books that date way ahead in time... men were taking things from His Word and trying to make money off of the gospel back then too. Also, the word angel in the Hebrew is often talking about men and not angels. I go over this in great detail in my book. If you are interested in reading it let me know and Ill send you it. Anything you can dispute I am open to see and learn from. blessings...

The *Cepher* is a pretty good bible, there are a few scriptures in it that aren't exact. But for the most part it looks pretty good. - Remember though that some of these other books have been translated many times over. - The 66 books however, like in the King James Bible or in most bibles are already proven to be about 98% accurate for every translation. Which is incredible from the time they were written. - The other books, we really don't know how many times they have been translated and how perfectly exact they truly are. Anyway we do get all the biblical answers we truly need from just the original known 66 books. - Then many know the book of 1Enoch Ethiopian is also pretty exact because its been around for the Ethiopians since the beginning of their Christianity, first century. Always remember that *1Enoch* is the truth but (2nd and 3rd Enoch are lies and came years later and do not fit with Gods word at all, so its ONLY 1Enoch.)

Thank you for the time that you take to share your studies into the gospel. It has been so helpful in my understanding of the bible over the years. Especially when I started truly understanding the bible better than I ever had & it led me to Messianic Hebrew roots. I learned how to run on heavy hitting topics before I learned how to fully walk with the simple topics therefore I have decided to do information pages on those studies. It will be very helpful when trying to articulate what I believe & why. Is there a technique that you use to document the information that you render out? I am finding that writing everything on a peice of paper makes it terribly difficult when trying to extract it to do a study on the topic if it has been done through a long period of time & if it doesn't get copied & put into a folder with other topics that it might be relevant for. I was thinking a spreadsheet where I can query the word might be helpful. Just wondering what techniques you use for documentation. I appreciate any insights that you may have to share that could make things easier.

Zachary my friend I'm a Christian (Technically Messianic Jew)personally studying textual criticism, I want to say that your work on Torah is amazing but, the modern versions are not corrupt. The King James uses manuscripts that add to the word of God(textus receptus, Stephanus and Latin Vulgate), the verses that are "omitted" are verses that are not in the earliest manuscripts we have(late 1st century and early 2nd century), I'd say that modern translations do get things right that the KJV gets wrong and KJV gets stuff right whilst modern translations get it wrong. I'm glad you are not KJV only, I personally own a KJV and am reading Genesis so yeah. I think I have got the interpretation of John 1:18 correct and it is a trinitarian reading I think. May God bless you and your family and May Yeshua Ha Mashiach, ha Ben-Adam, ha Ben-Dawud bless you also.

Actually His name isn't "Yeshua" (which is an Aramaic loan word meaning "salvation"). The Messiah's name is Yahushua (the same name as Joshua, Moshe's successor). Pronounced "Yah-oo-shoe-a". He says He came in His Father's name (I know it doesn't necessarily have to be taken literally but in this case it makes sense). In the name Yahushua you find the Father's personal name also. It means "Yah is salvation" and is a Hebrew word, not a loan word from the sister language of Aramaic.

So you mentioned Catholic. Did they use a different source after the great schism when they split from the Orthodox line? I ask because my Orthodox study bible has Acts 18:21 the same as KJV. So does Orthodox use the same source as KJV? Follow on question (if you know). Even though Acts 18:21 matches King James, this Orthodox Study Bible does have the Mark 7:19 saying (essentially) he declared all foods clean, which does not match King James Version. So how does the Orthodox Bible in your view fall within the various translations? Is it closer to King James or the newer translations?

I used to use KJ, but I couldn't understand the language used. Someone saw that and gave me an NIV. I loved it for years. Later, the NASB. Later on it was because I discovered many of it's flaws in all three versions. However, I am glad you referenced Ch 18:21 because I thought KJ was worse. Now, I may not feel that way. I still won't be using either of these three as my main bible. I use the ISR now. Mark 17:19! What's up with that? It sounds as if you are you saying pork and shrimp are fine to eat?

If God took more than six days to create the heavens and the earth....He would have simply said that. There would be no big deal for God to say..."in the first buzillion years God created the"....He is God, sovereign, immutable, unlimited in power. Just because something is difficult for humans does not mean it must be difficult for God. We are limited, finite....God is unlimited and infinite. Thanks for sharing Zach.

I'm about to purchase a volume 1 Talmud, but I'm hung up on which version or pub to go with - considering the Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud currently. I'm also going to pick up an interlinear Bible but having the same problems - thinking of Green's Interlinear there. Any ideas, bro? And, no, I am not going to be using the Talmud as 'Word of God." I have a History related degree, and this is sort of a hobby of mine, and I also want to continue on w/exploring our roots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am just doing research about the Bibles then start watching your video It is very confusing there is too many Bibles out there with many different translations from the Grease version of Bibles, the Grease versions also translated from ARAMI Bibles witch should have many human error. Zachary, I was wondering if you could tell me , since I like or see that your beliefs are true to YHWH, what church should I go to as I've been a bible reader for 30 years, but, I want fellowship with others? I was saved in 1984, but I still have bad habits and need the support of others.

Btw, your claim the NASB and NIV were translated from the Vulgate, easily disproved. And why does your KJ version use word Easter? Also the name James, used to replace Jaccob, total lack of consistency.

whoa. i did not know Acts 18:21. I compared some Bibles on the Bible App and only the following have Paul mentioning the feast in them: KJV, NKJV, The Scriptures TS2009. not even the Complete Jewish Bible has that verse completely in it. why is that?

"Melito is the earliest church leader, who we have record of, who actually listed the the Old Testament canon. The following written by Melito is FROM THE BOOK OF EXTRACTS: Melito to his brother Onesimus, greeting:-- As you have often, prompted by your regard for the word of God, expressed a wish to have some extracts made from the Law and the Prophets concerning the Saviour, and concerning our faith in general, and have desired, moreover, to obtain an accurate account of the Ancient Books, as regards their number and their arrangement, I have striven to the best of my ability to perform this task: well knowing your zeal for the faith, and your eagerness to become acquainted with the Word, and especially because I am assured that, through your yearning after God, you esteem these things beyond all things else, engaged as you are in a struggle for eternal salvation. I accordingly proceeded to the East, and went to the very spot where the things in question were preached and took place; and, having made myself accurately acquainted with the books of the Old Testament, I have set them down below, and herewith send you the list. Their names are as follows:-- The five books of Moses--Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy; Joshua, Judges, Ruth, the four books of Kings, the two of Chronicles, the book of the Psalms of David, the Proverbs of Solomon, also called the Book of Wisdom, Ecclesiastes, the Song of Songs, Job, the books of the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, of the twelve contained in a single book, Daniel, Ezekiel, Esdras. From these I have made my extracts, dividing them into six books." Now they conclude on the site that Esther is not mentioned but might be in Esdras or was not there because of political reasons - but the book of Esther as I see it adds to the Torah in regards of Purim and thereby there is historical proof that there was also issues on this book by the Jewish sages so it might have been the reason for not including it in the cannon of scripture. I can't see Nehemiah any place either mentioned and the 4 books of the kings seems to include the 2 books of 1st and 2st samuel I would think. Also we have a Jewish source confirming the way the books was placed until it seems the Jews canonized it and put them in another order. *If my memory serves me right* www.cogwriter.com/melito.htm

NKJV uses Sianaticus and Alexandrian codices (along with the majority texts) and changes some important verses. Best thing to do is download theWord (free) and then add all the different translations you believe are relevant. I use the ISR, NRKJV, and many more to compare the translations alongside each other with the Greek/Hebrew. It's a great piece of software.

Shalom Zach, i agree with you about the Book of Enoch but i don't understand why you reject the Book of Jubilees found also at Qumran and which is inside the Ethiopian canon like the Book of Enoch. The Book of Jubilees is confirmed by other Books of the Torah, and by Yehoshua and Apostles. In the past, many Jews believe in this Book like an other Book of Torah given by Moses.

Hey Ruth! I never heard Zachary say he disagreed with the authenticity of Jubilees. He said he didn't like the first and second books of Adam and Eve - which I enjoy tremendously and find no contradictions. There was an issue with with some time frames, which I have found to be a calendar issue (it says Christ will return in 5 and half days or 5,500 years). You will find the same type of discrepancy in Jasher regarding the time that the Israelites were in Egypt (220 approx years vs. 430 years). I just happened to reread the book of Ruth today btw... Awesome book! :D Yahuwah bless you Ruth!
