As appealing as is the description of the Defender Razor, one could suspect it will shave too closely and irritate skin to some people. The Schick X-Treme 3 is a bit like The Defender, except blades are closer-together. I know this having tried X-Treme3, but I am not sure about for Defender (just guessing based on my experience with X-Treme3).

Thanks for your review. Based on your review, I tried the Defender, and I love it. The Defender blades float independently over the contours of my face for a really comfortable, close, and clean shave. I was skeptical that a small company, like Defender Razor, could be better than a product from Gillette, but the Defender really is far superior to Gillette. Other than Gillette, I cannot compare the Defender to any other razor, but I do really love the Defender Razor.

Harry's 5 blade is awesome,gillette fusion is good,dorco Magnum 5 is good shavelogic sl5 is great it's all about preference nothing more.

Too bad about Dorco cartridge razors. They make a terrific double-edge blade for safety razors. Good shave, yet mild. My most nick-free blade.

It's really easy and you won't break it, just push on the button on top and it'll come off.

I tried Harry's and just found it a little cheap myself. Defender Razor is WAY better! You should give it a try, it's cheap and they'll return it if you don't like it. I thought MicroTouch was better than Harrys to. I really wanted to like it because they do a great job on their packaging and now are in Targets but... have to be honest.

Hey man, these are the same razors Dollar Shave club uses, they are actually just Dorco Razors www.dorcousa.com that I mention in the video. You can get them cheaper direct but I would highly recommending trying Defender Razor in the USA or BoldKing in the UK. Hope this helps

Zachus shavemob is actually a little cheaper than dorco direct. I've used dorco, shavemob, and dollar shave club.

I guess it depends on how much you shave and how many blades you go through, for me it was cheaper through Dorco Direct but at the end of the day I liked defenderrazor.com a the best so far, it's my go to. I shave about 1-2 times a week. Thanks for watching and for the feedback.
